"The location is convenient, with a large parking lot that's easy for even large vehicles. It's right next to a highway, making it convenient to get to the airport or other places. The counter is advertised as 24-hour online, but when I arrived around midnight, there was no one there. I waited about 5 minutes before someone came out to help with check-in. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but you'll be asked to order drinks from the bartenders (you can't get hot drinks like coffee yourself), and then you'll be asked to sign a bill and tip (drinks are free, but the bartenders will very enthusiastically ask what you'd like to drink, creating a slight pressure to tip). I understand this is part of American tipping culture, but having to tip every day for breakfast feels a bit uncomfortable. It would be more comfortable to go to a breakfast buffet where you can pour your own drinks and coffee. Other than that, it's good."

"Had a wonderful stay at The August Inn once again! Owner is always super helpful and gave us tips and directions to great eateries in the area. Beautifully appointed rooms were so fitting of Old Town Spring; bed was SUPER comfy! Will definitely be back again for a family or girls weekend stay. It is across the train track and inconsistent but its in and out and was NOT a big deal."

"Stayed here for three nights while visiting family in the area. The location is a wee bit out of the way, but there is a gas station, convenience store, and CVS (pharmacy) right beside the hotel, which is helpful. My room was like an apartment: fully stocked kitchen, great desk and seating area, king-size bed, really nice shower. While there were spots that showed age/wear, the place was clean and well kept in my opinion. One downside was being able to hear the neighboring room's television and/or radio; I know hotels are notorious for thin walls, but you would think they'd at least stagger occupancy, especially when they know people are probably living/working in these spaces (though I was visiting family, I was also working some of the time). I ended up using a combination of a travel white-noise machine and my headphones to block neighboring noise. I also chose not to participate in the breakfasts as they were crowded and no one wore masks. Overall, however, a largely pleasant stay, and I would probably consider returning if my travels took me back that way."

"The floor was soaking wet from the air conditioning. Refrigerator didn’t work moved to a new room the air conditioner leaked water on the floor and that room as well. Management only wanted to give me 10% off the original price I like that value me as a customer and they made a lot of excuses, for the reason why the hotel was having issues they say all the builders been here for 10 years so that’s why we have all these issues to me personally I feel like management because no matter how long you had an establishment you should have the proper people in place in order for your establishment to unsuccessfully"
