Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield I-55 ★★

"Nice location"

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Springfield Southwest ★★★

"This hotel opened in January 2026. My husband and I stayed for one night while in town to visit the Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library. We are regular guests at Fairfield Inns, and this one exceeded our expectations. Obviously, being six months old is a plus, but it's really the amenities and the staff that make it such a great place to stay. The room is what you would expect for a Fairfield -- bright, well-appointed, and clean. Then there is the beautiful outdoor area. It's not just a few tables, chairs and umbrellas. Also included are a sofa grouping, three kinds of chairs, a big-screen TV, two gas fire pits, and hanging and wall lights. So lovely! Then there is also the phenomenal breakfast. Again, the offerings are what you would expect, but add Danish, baby quiches, biscuits and gravy, two kinds of sausage, home fries, etc., etc. All of it was fresh and delicious, and nothing ran low, even as closing time neared. For me, an extra nice touch was real plates and flatware instead of paper and plastic. Also, the breakfast area is well staffed by friendly people and is kept spotlessly clean. A manager came through this morning and his interactions with the staff were positive and complimentary. The front desk staff were also very friendly and gracious. It's clear that these folks all enjoy their jobs. Well done, Marriott."

President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel ★★★★

"Elevators were terrible, ice machine on floor did not work, constant drip noise from bathroom, no refrigerator and temperature would not cool off till the middle of the night"

Red Roof Inn Springfield, IL ★★

"We were exhausted from loading the U-Haul. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30am tired and ready to get a decent night’s sleep. Boy were we wrong. To start, the door didn’t have a room number. The room was awful. There were cigarette burns in the sheets and blankets. There was also dirt on the sheets. The bathtub was disgusting. We slept with our clothes on for fear what might be on the linens. The door wouldn’t lock. Thank goodness I put the hook on the door. When we woke up the door was open about 1/2 inch. To make things better, it was snowing outside. The owners didn’t care at all."

Home2 Suites by Hilton Springfield ★★★

"What a great warm and friendly environment. I would definitely go back to this location. Thanks again for such a welcoming place and great attitude. I will be back in the future. Love the immaculate he kept facility. I will pass the word to my friends and neighbors if they’re traveling to Springfield for any reason thank you again."

Inn at 835 Boutique Hotel ★★★

"The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The only worst breakfast that is supposed to be carrying some kind of egg, meat and something sweet but we only put biscuits and gravey, we expected something more."
