La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Springfield South

The elevators were out and there was no sign of a fix coming soon. Two out of the three entryways I've tried did not work with the pass key. It was not one of the nicer Laquita I've stayed in. However the staff was very friendly and they accepted my dogs. They have a nice Dog area in the back, although it's not fenced.

The room was cleaned. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately the elevator was out of service but the front desk put us on the first floor and we had no trouble.

The first thing noticed was the huge rust like stain in the bottom of tub. Needed tub for toddler. Asked and given another room. Same stain in that tub. Was told they will remodel/replace soon. Very outdated hotel. Microwave from 70s, unable to regulate time. The only good perk was the heated pool. Price was too high for quality.

Pleasant stay. Our room was nice and other than the elevator being out of service the property well maintained.

The hotel room smelled. The sheets were stained. The elevator didn’t work. The bathtub had mold. The pool area had stuff dripping from the ceiling and mold.

It was one of the better places I have stayed. Friendly staff greeted us and was easy check in. As always happens there is something wrong. The elevator wasn't working during our 3 day stay and our rooms were on the second floor. We had 2 rooms and going to the second floor via the stairs would not normally be a problem but one of our party has health issues and climbing stairs was a problem. With that being said, all else was great. One of the cleanest rooms, most comfortable bed, nicest swimming pools, best breakfast and helpful staff I have had in a long time. I would recommend and stay again.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Breakfasts were good, coffee isn’t great. Will return next year, it’s a great location for our family.

I have been staying here twice a year for many years. The staff and service is always good and the facility clean. However this is the second time in recent years that the elevator has not been working. We had to carry our heavy bags up a flight of stairs, thankfully we were able to move from the 3rd floor to the second floor. I feel like the hotel should provide extra staff to help people with their luggage in situations like this. And, they should make getting the elevator repaired a priority. I’m very disappointed this has happened to us twice.
