Hotel York (5 Mins Walk to Dal Lake) ★★★
"Hotel is good. Good location. Quite and peace. Only things..is hot water usage is limited. You cant bath even 5 minutes. Hot water become cold again while bath. They should use centralised hot water system. Other than this issue, all.is.good. staff very polite and humble. Clean and nead."

The LaLit Grand Palace Srinagar
"Amazing experience at The Lalit Grand Palace Srinagar. It was one of the finest stays we have had in Kashmir. The reception staff were extremely courteous, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The heritage tour was a wonderful experience, giving us an opportunity to learn about the rich history and legacy of the Palace. Special thanks to Safiya and Owais for attending to us so warmly and providing such wonderful service. Overall, a memorable stay with exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended!"
Mascot Houseboats
"I had the most amazing 2 day stay at Mascot Houseboats on nigeen lake. I'm glad I chose this houseboat over dal lake. Imtiyaz, the part owner greeted me upon arrival in which you take a shikara to. He also set me up with a driver named imran(who made my trip to srinagar memorable) he picked me up at the airport and drove me around all the sights of srinagar for an extra reasonable fee. I was given a complimentary upgrade as well. I still appreciate that. The view around the houseboat was beautiful with the backdrop of the mountains and all the colored buildings...stunning. The interior of the houseboat is typical kashmiri wooden style. Breakfast is complimentary and very good but what makes the stay is the dinner served. I never ate anywhere else while in srinagar after the first night. The chef provides chicken, mutton , rice, Sabri, the lotus stem curry was to die for!. Its alot of food. I hurt myself because I didn't want to waste any. The surrounding area behind is nice as well. I would definitely recommend staying here and spending the extra money to do so. I also liked the idea of sellers coming to the lobby area for jewelry etc. I bought a silver onyx ring very cheap and unique. Thank you again imtiyaz for the great stay I had. I must come again to see the rest of kashmir."
The Orchard Retreat & Spa
"We stayed at The Orchard Retreat & Spa on 1st May 2026 during our Kashmir family trip, and liked it so much that after a day's gap exploring elsewhere, we came back and stayed again on 3rd May. Choosing to return mid-trip is honestly the best review I can give a property. The ambience is the standout — quiet, green, and well laid out, with that resort-like feel that lets you actually unwind. The accommodation is cottage-style rather than a typical hotel block, which adds a lot to the experience: more privacy, more character, and a nice connection to the outdoors. On the amenities side, the property does more than tick boxes — the gym is well-equipped, the swimming pool is clean and inviting, and the games room was a real hit with the family. Easy to spend a relaxed half-day on the property itself without feeling restless. A solid recommendation if you want a calm, family-friendly base in Srinagar. We'd come back again on our next Kashmir trip."
Arco Hotels and Resorts Srinagar
"I had a wonderful experience during my visit. A special thanks to Majid… the receptionist, who was extremely polite, professional, and always ready to help. His friendly attitude made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The food was delicious with a great variety of dishes, and everything was fresh and well prepared. The swimming pool area was clean, relaxing, and perfect for spending quality time."
Radisson Srinagar
"One of the best stay ever everything was perfect from the warm welcome at the reception to the cleanliness of the room and the quality of service. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help specially front desk would definitely recommend this hotal to family and friends."
Upani Cottages
"So many good things about the place. Great hospitality. Very clean and comfortable property. Nice food. Very green lush lawns. A new place, so a couple of things to improve or will be improved soon. Like - Little electricity problem, but backup is available though not everything is on backup. Little away from city, but very peaceful. "
Fortune Resort Heevan, Srinagar - Member ITC Hotels' Group
"We had an absolutely amazing stay here. The property boasts a beautiful ambience and the rooms are top-notch—incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. A special shoutout to Mr. Altaf, the F&B Manager, who recommended us for this stay and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experiences were perfect,it was a pleasure meeting him. The entire staff is remarkably cooperative, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Srinagar."
Gulab Resort
"Felt very bad after reaching the so called resort, it is a homestay only. Initially i was to cancel the booking and the owner felt very bad for being booked through mmt. His response was poor, not even slept for the whole night due to very hot temperature, no ac no fan, no food facility. Overall stay was poor."
Hotel Central Park
"We stayed in 2 rooms on 2 different days of the same week. Cleanliness and this hotel do not go hand in hand. Pillow covers were dirty, bed sheets were dirty, had marks, hair on them. After I complained they changed 3-4 times and each and everyone of them had similar marks and hair, it looked like as if these were not washed for ages.. In restaurant used/soiled spoons were kept, tables were not cleaned, glasses were not clean. Drinking water taste and bathroom sink water tasted the same, not sure what was the matter Rooms had broken wooden flooring with nails popping out and my son hurt his leg Staff is courteous and food is decent. But overall experience is not at all worth it"
Lemon Tree Hotel Srinagar
"♥️We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, fresh, and well presented. The service was smooth and professional. Special thanks to Mr. Sahil,Fayaz, chef owais and zahid for his kind, attentive, and excellent service. He made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Highly appreciated and recommended"
Hotel Pacific
"Overall, the stay was good, but it was a bit noisy since the hotel is right next to the main road. It was a little difficult to sleep comfortably."
