Hyatt Regency Malta

The hotel is in a good location. There is a small shopping mall opposite and there are shops below. It may be inconvenient if you have a lot of large luggage, because the vehicle cannot drive directly to the hotel gate. You need to get off the car on the hillside and walk in with your luggage. There is no service staff at the intersection to greet those who take the luggage. The front desk staff and restaurant service staff are very enthusiastic. The room decoration is relatively new, but the quality is average. The building next door is currently under construction. When getting a room, it is best to tell the front desk staff that you request a room further away.

Nice location if one is looking for a seaside holiday. Quiet, peaceful with lovely views of the sea. If one is looking for a location that is easy to travel around, then staying at Valletta might be more convenient as the bus and main ferry terminal is situated there. However, if one is touring by car / taxi then the consideration where the bus terminal is would be less important. Filling breakfast (though it doesn’t vary very much from day to day) and serves its function of filling one up for the start of the day! Rooms are neat and tidy, some areas show wear and tear but does not affect the overall functionality of the room. Good and clean comfy beds. Excellent service by the hotel staff who made the stay enjoyable. We unfortunately had an accident with the sliding bathroom door but the hotel staff did their best to make the rest of our stay as worry-free as possible.
Radisson Blu Resort, Malta St Julian's

2200 yuan a night, the big bed is exactly a big mattress with 2 small mattresses. That outdoor bathtub is great and good value for money. Expensive. The breakfast was not rich enough, maybe it was different tastes.

Located on the Mercury Tower in St. Julian's, Malta, the hotel has a small entrance and is inconspicuous. Check-in is on the 7th floor. When I arrived, it was not yet 3pm, so the front desk told me that if I upgraded to a suite, I could check in immediately, but it would cost an additional $200 per night. The price I booked was already $1200-1300 per night, so I declined! Two glasses of welcome champagne. Pet-friendly hotel. New room hardware. Friendly service. They knock on the door from time to time to bring water and snacks. But I always feel that it is not the star service standard of a big hotel. The bar and minibar are full of drinks, alcohol and snacks, but there is no price list, so be careful. In fact, they are all charged. The decoration looks luxurious, but it is a bit lacking in practicality when used. Across the floor is a well-known Italian restaurant, le majoliche, which is good. There are also several seafood and steak restaurants around that are all good, such as L’ostricaio. The seafood is very fresh and there is a queue during the peak season. I will choose one of them every time I come to Malta; LORE&FITCH is a steakhouse, and its T-bone steak 🥩 is great; PEPPINO‘S is a relatively small but warm restaurant, and its fish soup is delicious; The avenue is downstairs in a shopping mall, and the food is very clean; these restaurants are distributed around and can be reached in a few minutes on foot.

It was a pity that it wasn't the best season to use the swimming pool. However, the night view and sunrise seen from the hotel room became unforgettable memories for my friend and me.
Hyatt Centric Malta

The hotel is absolutely new and beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, offering a truly comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. However, the hotel is located a bit far from the main attractions, which might require some extra planning for sightseeing. If you don’t mind the distance, it’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy a high-quality stay.
