Spinola Hotel

Facilities: Rooms are generally clean and equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning, TVs, hair dryers, and USB ports. The rooftop pool is praised for its scenic views, though some note its small size and limited seating.

This is a very good three star hotel. The rooms were very clean and a really good shower. This hotel was ideal for our purpose as we were only in Malta for a few days and needed somewhere with a good location and comfortable. The location is right by Spinola Bay and near Paceville. You are at least 5 minutes walk away from the bars and clubs so you won't get bothered by noise. At Spinola Bay you have access to many restaurants so this was perfect. Also, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the hop-on/hop-off are a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. Again ideal for us. Staff at the hotel are incredibly polite and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food. There is a lift but it is tiny. However, no real issue. If you're looking for a short stay and not looking to spend a lot of time at the hotel then this is a good choice. Unfortunately there is one major issue, which is not the hotel's fault. At present there is construction work happening right infront of the hotel. They started at 6am so not ideal having a Jackhammer going off at 6am. The hotel said they are not allowed to start before 8am but they did. It wasn't such a big issue as we weren't there long enough but this could be a deal breaker for some. Recommend you check with the hotel.
