Don’t judge a book by its cover .. the front of the Marazion doesn’t reflect the amazing hotel inside .. from the incredible staff to the fabulous furnishings the hotel was impeccable.. spotlessly clean, nothing too much trouble for staff, food cooked and delivered perfectly.. we loved the way the hotel still maintains a bar that’s there for everyone from the guys finishing work, coastal walkers, restaurant diners and hotel guests, then as a hotel guest you have use of the beautiful lounge and a space in the car park too. The bedrooms are super. .. bathrooms so clean .. lovely touches on the hospitality tray and a basket for the recycling .. it’s all been thought of.. we met Karen the hotel manager a couple of times and like all the staff she too always had time for a chat about your day your meal or the hotels history. And always quick to praise the team. Quite right too so the biggest question is should we share this gem with our friends? Or keep it for ourselves!

This is a fantastic hotel, staff are lovely, food is very good and the rooms are extremely well furnished and maintained. We had a 3 night weekend stay and it was just welcoming, comfortable and relaxing right from stepping in the door. Location is spot on for easy trips to lots of local towns and beaches and the hotel team are a real credit to the hotel- this know how to run a hotel and make you feel like a guest. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here. We had a free upgrade to a sea view room with a bath and a king size bed, fantastic stay and it’s a room we’ll book again. Nod to the wise, book room 5.

My wife Sandra and I went to the Marazion hotel for a long weekend, we arrived on the Friday at 2.30. Went to the car park (that is for over night quest only) then to the reception. We had a lovely welcome as we registered in. We were taken to a lovely room, plenty of room inside, lots of draws and cupboard to put your belongings. The bathroom was amazing, very recently renovated, fantastic shower, with lovely shampoo’s etc. the towels were very fluffy. The room was well heated with additional heater that we didn’t need, in fact the room temp was mostly between 22 and 25 degrees, but you can turn the radiator down. We went down to the bar for a drink, the bar man greeted us with a welcome, he suggested we have the house double gin and tonic as it was a very good and cheaper alternative to Gordon’s. We went for a walk about in the town, before getting ready for dinner. (Always book for dinner asap, as they fill up quickly) I had a steak with trimmings, and Sandra had the roast cauliflower with trimmings, we were very happy with our choices, the food was cooked very well. Breakfast in the morning is table service. The choice is fantastic, from traditional Cornish breakfast to Salmon and scrambled eggs, tea coffee, juices and great thick toast, brown or white. We were always asked if we were ok and did we want extra tea or food. We used the hotel as a base to look around the area. We have been to Cornwall many times, and love it, we walked over to St Michael’s Mount, visited Mousehall, St Ives, and Penzance. Everywhere we went, people were so friendly and helpful. At the hotel everyone was so lovely and helpful, always a smile and genuine interest in your day, I can honestly say we would come back in a heartbeat. Being here out of season, it is very quiet, and most visitor sites are closed. But there are lots of places to visit that will keep you busy.

Amazing Hotel easily one of the best we have ever experienced. Impeccably run by Karen the Manageress with amazing staff. Our room was just gorgeous and could not be faulted. The service in bar was prompt and charming. The restaurant was light and spacious yet felt welcoming. The lounge was beautifully furnished. Our meals, both dinner and breakfast were served by a charming young lady and could not be faulted, the fish we had was wonderful and breakfast was really good. Usually in hotels breakfast is the worst mel but this was five star. We will return

Have to echo all of the comments made by recent guests. Fabulous welcome and great stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Comfy, scrupulously clean room and ensuite. Great position for visiting St Michael's Mount. The complimentary car parking was a godsend for the area. The breakfast! Really fresh fruit and homemade granola or a choice of hot options. We ate in one evening and were blown away by the delicious hake main course. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

A wonderful place to stay! We were greeted by the very charming and friendly staff who looked after us so well throughout our stay. The hotel is magnificent, it is in a great location, spotlessly clean, quiet and peaceful. Our beautiful room was very comfortable and clean too. The breakfast is served to order and was delicious each morning. Can recommend this hotel and we look forward to returning again sometime very soon.

What a lovely location and a great hotel. Made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Had a great sea view room that was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent as was the Sunday roast that we had during our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Big thank you to all the staff for their attentive service.
