Turtle Bay Lodge

We were warmly welcomed in St Lucia by Fiona and Jan. Theo gave us excellent information to maximale our visits to iSimangaliso Wetland Park and to Hluhluwe Imfalozi Natur Park. They even prepared a hot coffee and Fresh muffin before our departure to Hluhluwe at 4:30 in the morning. What a hospitality !!!. The room was great to relax after the game drives. All amenities are available and as the room had no television set, we enjoyed sitting in our own patio outside for a quiet reading. We could also enjoy the pool area, with the fully stocked, self-service bar and we to have a conversation with the other guests. The lodge is on walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

My second tine staying with Turtle Bay Lodge. Will definitely recommend this accommodation. The food, rooms and effort to make you comfortable for fishing is very nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. Lucia. The owners, Jan and Fiona, were really friendly and helpful, sorting us out with some recommendations and tour bookings - they couldn't have been nicer! They were also so kind and thoughtful to lay on a little surprise birthday breakfast celebration for our son, with balloons as well . Thank you very much, and to the rest of the staff as well, for the warm welcome, delicious breakfasts and overall very enjoyable stay.

The pool area is stunning and perfect for cooling off after a day exploring the beaches, estuary, or iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Breakfast is delicious, and the hospitality is next-level — warm, welcoming, and genuine. There’s also plenty of secure parking and a peaceful, private atmosphere throughout the lodge. A little slice of paradise where comfort meets nature — Turtle Bay Lodge is truly one of St Lucia’s best! ✨

From our arrival we were met by the friendliest hosts Jan and Fiona, and our accommodation was spotless and very well kitted with all a weary traveller needs after a long road trip. The breakfast every morning was superb, well prepared and presented, with a little home baked something each morning. Lounging by the pool or taking a stroll in to town was a daily occurrence, and not forgetting trips to the Cape Vidal Nature Reserve or pristine beaches of St Lucia - Turtle Bay offers a relaxed home from home holiday - cannot wait to visit again.

We had a happy holiday at Turtle Bay Lodge! They were most welcoming to us, accommodating to our needs. We are seniors and they allowed my sister to share our room. Every morning we were greeted with a scrumptious breakfast and happy smiles. (My sister got the muffin recipe). Our room was comfortable and pretty. They were open for advice and good recommendations to an area we were not quite familiar with. We got to see the NHI doing their weekly training. My hubby was keen on inspecting the fishing boat, and was given a tour, and answers to his many questions. Some evenings we braaied on the premises and sipped cocktails. We even visited the club with our hosts. We hope to visit them again for sure.

We had a wonderful time in the Turtle Bay Lodge. Excellent breakfast, friendly stuff and beautiful rooms. Daily room Service was perfect as well.
