Havenhostel Stade - Hotel ★★★
"We had a business event with over 40 colleagues in Stade and we all felt very well looked after in the hotel. The rooms are modern and very clean, and there is a roof terrace next to the seminar room where we were able to enjoy the first rays of sunshine of the year with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and varied. I would come back anytime."
Hotel am Fischmarkt ★★★
"Cute timber frame hotel right in the city centre. Rooms are cosy and quiet. Breakfast was good. I come again"
Sunday Hotel Stade Herzog Widukind ★★★
"The hotel unfortunately doesn't have adequate on-site parking. Approximately 7 parking spaces are not enough for a property with an estimated 60 rooms, especially when they advertise parking in the hotel description. As an alternative, we had to park in public areas managed by the city (requiring a parking ticket, max 3 hours). Since the capacity of these public parking spaces directly around the hotel is also very limited, it makes you want to avoid taking any planned excursions into the surrounding area."
Parkhotel Stader Hof ★★★★
"Simply perfect for a city trip - location of the hotel(central), staff (friendly, nice and helpful), room(size, equipment and cleanliness) and breakfast(rich, diverse and delicious). We were very satisfied. We're happy to come back."
Zentrum Hotel Stade ★★★
"My experience at this property was unfortunately very disappointing. When booking, it was completely unclear that reception closed at 6:00 PM; this information was hidden in a secondary clause and not repeated in the pre-check-in messages. We received a message at 5:51 PM informing us of the closure and that we would have to collect our keys ourselves. The room assigned to us did not match our reservation. We had chosen an 18 square meter room in the main building, but were given accommodations in a separate building, partially below street level. The window, which overlooks the parking lot, is at the height of car exhaust pipes—a detail never mentioned in the description. Furthermore, the room had a step at the entrance and a kitchen that was neither requested nor indicated in the room description. These are all features that reduce the actual space and do not correspond at all to what was advertised. We immediately reported the situation, requesting to be moved the next day to a suitable room or, alternatively, a refund. The hotel never responded to either our direct message or the reminder through the booking portal. Even at checkout, the staff completely ignored the issue. Fortunately, the portal we booked through acknowledged the issue and refunded us. I strongly recommend paying close attention before booking: the room management did not match the descriptions, and communication with the hotel was non-existent."
Hotel am Holzhafen ★★
"I had one night. It's good for that. There's a cafe. I liked breakfast!"
Hotel-Restaurant Vier Linden ★★★
"Previous: This is a 3-Sterne-Hotel. Therefore, this review also refers to this exact hotel category. Whoever has higher rights, must book 4 or 5 stars. The hotel is decentralised and quiet and has a sufficiently large parking space. The hotel restaurant is located in a separate building and is also apparently highly frequented by indigenous guests, especially since there is a kegel track. We were there with a friendly group with a total of 12 people and 7 rooms. For our group, I had booked by email in advance and could clear details very nicely. The rooms were clean and ordening, though not in every detail modern. The same was true for our bathroom - clean and ordened, but not renovated yesterday. Breakfast is organized in a room in the hotel building. 4 extra tables were reserved for our group - very carefully! The breakfast itself was rich and ok, the buffet was regularly filled. Concluded: For about € 100 per night and double room absolutely ok. One Wermut drop: For a dog 15 Euros had to be paid extra. You can find it well, but you don't have to. To the hotel restaurant: We had pre-ordered green coal and were absolutely satisfied with the food served (and we didn't eat green coal for the first time!) The service was friendly and unimpersive, but careful. Also here the price-performance ratio was true!"
