We stayed 1 night for my husbands birthday. As long as you are not expecting a premier inn type hotel it’s totally fabulous. It’s not practical accommodation (no door or walls to the loo), but rich, quirky fabulousness. You wouldn’t want to stay a week but for an indulgent break it’s fun. It’s not like most people have velvet padded walls at home, and a bath that fills from the ceiling. Negative wise is the Thai restaurant is very nice, but very expensive £8.50 for a bowl of egg fried rice. And don’t get me started on the wine prices! The service was also quite slow. Staff are very friendly and the garden area is lovely Would I stay again? - probably not, but Im very glad we came and experienced The Crazy Bear
