Dionysos Apartments & Studios ★★★
"An amazing 10 day stay in this beautiful family ran hotel, Efi and family have been absolutely amazing and so welcoming. Food is cooked to order and tastes lovely! Drinks are beautiful… especially the cocktails. Lovely clean rooms and they have been so welcoming to our large family. Hotel is close to beach and restaurants, Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
Eurohotel Katrin Hotel & Bungalows ★★★★
"I travelled here for my first trip as a lone traveller , and can I say , I was really well looked after by all at this hotel. The restaurant team we're by far the happiest, friendliest I have come across and the manager could not of been nicer if he had tried. The room was clean , well maintained and attended daily . The pool was spotless , as was the surrounding areas. Lovely location, we're I felt safe wandering the shops , beach and restaurants. I had several treatments in the spa and can thoroughly recommend the full body massage , bliss. I would happily return for another short break to relax. Thank you all x"
Heliotrope Apartments ★★★
"We stayed at Heliotrope Apartments in July 2025 and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The accommodation was extremely dirty – cockroaches were present in several areas of the apartment. Despite an immediate complaint on site, nothing was done, neither cleaning nor a room change. The staff showed absolutely no interest. The incident was also reported multiple times via the booking platform Agoda, including photographic evidence. Nevertheless, we were only offered a very small compensation, which in no way reflects reality. The apartment was unacceptable in this condition, and the provider's response was disappointing. I cannot recommend this accommodation and strongly advise caution when booking it."
Astir Studios ★★★
"I immediately felt at home here; the place is run by a friendly mother-son team. The rooms are simple and clean, with a large refrigerator and cooking facilities. I had a large terrace at the back. The room was quiet. There's good parking in front of the building. It's a short walk to the beach and the nearest restaurants. Anyone looking for good budget accommodation will be well served here."
Nami Hotel & Suites ★★★★
"Food not the best pool to small not enough room by pool few beds"
Eurohotel Katrin Suites ★★★★
"To All Staff - Thank you for making this such a wonderful holiday. We have absolutely fallen in love with Crete, and our experience has been made even more special because of your warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, you made us feel like part of the Cretan community rather than just visitors. Your genuine hospitality has created memories that we will treasure for a long time. We wish you all happiness, good health, and every success for the future. Please continue the excellent work you do. George and Eirini are first class and make you really welcome, they are highly professional. George your leadership and the example you set for your staff is truly inspiring. With our sincere respect, gratitude, and affection, Steven and Susan xx"
Malliotakis Beach Hotel "by Checkin" ★★★
"We had booked into a hotel which didn't suit our taste and location, so having found a room at the Malliotakis hotel we stayed here for 4 nights. Rena welcomed us and showed us the last room which we then booked. The hotel is in a lovely location right on the beachfront with its own pool, which was also lovely and warm. Food at the beach bar was lovely and the breakfast was a buffet style and very good. The location of the hotel was fab and we could just walk out and had lots of restaurants and bars right there. Rooms were spotless and clean towels each day. We really enjoyed our stay. Jiannis, Rena, Maria and Manos made us so welcome."
Alai, Crete, a Tribute Portfolio Resort ★★★★
"Room were small but comfortable and clean. Also rooms has “hidden cameras “ positioned straight to the bed. That’s illegal. Breakfast is the same every day, not big choice. Staff were great, area is great, beach is perfect. Resort area was great."
Iraklis Apartments ★★★
"Great location but no air conditioning, great staff"

Soleil Rooms and Suites
Riviera Beach Hotel
"We had a wonderful time here. The staff work hard to give guests a great stay. Breakfast was delicious, with excellent egg dishes and a small but well-selected variety. In the evening, there’s a small menu and sometimes a barbecue night where fresh fish is served. The food quality was excellent – we had nothing to complain about. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly, and both the beach and the water were well-kept and clean. The beach boy was very dedicated and created a cheerful atmosphere. Many thanks for the lovely stay!"
Cactus Beach Hotel
"The location is very nice with beautiful view, the atmosphere of the hotel is really friendly. The rooms were clean and nice. The food was really tasty and diverse. The Pink Wave community were organising fun activities and really competitive beach volley and water polo. Thank you Pink Wave community and Gabriele (team leader) for the great experience."

"Quiet and beautiful hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Whatever we needed, they immediately found solutions and gave us great recommendations for the island as well! The cuisine is fresh and delicious, the cocktails are very good, and thankfully they are generous with the alcohol. We would definitely come back!"
Cactus Royal Spa & Resort
"Just got back from a week stay at the hotel and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. Positives: - hotel is clean, well maintained and in a great location (near beach, shops, bars etc). The mountain backdrop is particularly beautiful! Rooms were clean and comfortable. - Food is varied, different theme every night, with most nights having a good amount of vegetarian options. Deserts are a particularly highlight! - Staff were generally friendly and happy to help. - One of our group had a massage at the spa which she had glowing feedback for, the spa team would also offer taster massages around the pool too! - We had an à la carte meal at the Italian (off sight at another cactus hotel) which was such a highlight, such tasty food and our waiter Kostas was a gem. Negatives: - A lack of daytime entertainment, no sports activities or classes etc - would have been nice to have some sort of timetable! - Rooms are a little noisy with quite echoey corridors, not awful but would recommend earplugs - Drinks were a bit lacking, cocktail menu was limited under all inclusive and most were very sweet! I’d say overall a really enjoyable trip but would say it does feel more like a 4* than a 5* hotel experience"
Amazones Villas Apartments
"Stayed here for 1 week in September. We were made super welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Natasha & Dimitris are a wonderful couple - friendly, helpful, good fun & cook fantastic food, too. You must try the amazing Greek omelette! Mika took care of us well when we returned for a late night drink. We felt so at home in this little gem & very much hope to return - Τα λέμε μετά!"
Rainbow Apartments
"First time to Stalis and if I had realised the location of these apartments I would not have booked. Firstly the positives Florin in cafe, Dave on the bar and Eleni on reception are lovely people. Now the negatives Location you cant avoid the main road its on and in order to walk into Stalis you have to negotiate one of the many grim underground passes or take your life in your hands to cross the busy A road. Check in was stressful after a long journey as it is done by yourself via an app. Also beware If you have any sort of mobility issues as there are literally steps everywhere lots of them and the ramps are extremely steep not great dragging luggage or coming home after a long walk. The pool only has metal ladders so no slope or steps to get in. The balconies are not very private and some have people walking past them or looking into each other. We booked a superior apartment, it was very disappointing, small, in dire need of an upgrade and dark and old fashioned and very grubby looking not at all like the photos online. It was very basic. We also had to go up steps then down some more steps. There are no lifts here. The balcony view was overlooking the pool but also over looking other apartments and you could see the sea but through the other buildings opposite and in the very far distance as you are not close to Stalis or the bars and beaches but thats my fault as I should have done more research but as I said, we were first timers to Stalis so didnt know the area. One major disappoinment and a point of concern was the loss of a ring from the dressing table. I know it was there before we went out and my fault for not putting it in the safe or wearing it but it was of no value just a dress ring i had brought for 2 euros 50 but it looked more expensive so I didnt report it but it made me cautious of security there. One last thing... if you book through TUI beware as you get dropped off here but on your return journey you have to drag your cases along the road and under the underpass to the Blue hotel up the road on the opposite side in order to get picked up by coach for the airport at the Public bus stop which wouldnt be great in the height of summer in 40 degree heat, it was bad enough for us, a couple in our 60s in October! So would we return to these apartments? Has to be No from us location, steps, road, pool , quality of accommodation, location, too far out and security. Would we recommend? No due to above. Would we return to Stalis? Absolutely its a lovely place but next time we will book somewhere actually in Stalis easy walking to beaches bars and restaurants and with fewer steps and a better pool as we saw lots of choice whilst we were there."

Hotel Thisvi
"Just back from an amazing stay at Hotel Thisvi Stalis and I can't recommend it enough! 🌞🏖️ It's a little hidden gem right on the beach road, just a few minutes' walk from the centre of everything, making it the perfect location. A bonus is that Cosmopolitan Lounge & Bar is right next door. The food was fabulous, and it was the perfect place to stop for a drink on the way back after a night out. 🍹🍽️ Here's a video showing the layout of the complex and the one-bedroom apartment so you can see what it's like. If you're looking for a clean, friendly, and well-located place to stay, Apartments Thisvi is definitely worth checking out. We'll certainly be back! ❤️"
