"This was a last minute booking to these apartments and I must say I have had an enjoyable stay. I arrived around midnight and there was a note on reception door explaining my room and how to get there. I was in room 3 on the third (top) floor. It has recently been refurbed except the fridge which is pretty old but works perfectly. I had a wonderful sleep on the fairly firm thick mattress. There was no balcony as such but I did put a chair on the main balcony in the evenings and took in the lovely scene. The pool is kept very clean and is refreshing to get in and cool down. The hosts were fantastic in that the couple of questions I had were answered and information all correct. I would not hesitate to return here ( Maybe later in the year) This is my first solo holiday and I felt so safe and welcome. Also the single supplement was not too much and very reasonable. The food is reasonably priced too! so don't pay too much attention to the bad reviews on this site as some people pay for this standard of appartment and expect first class! BTW there are no tv's in the room unless you book a suite ... but hey you don't come to Crete to watch telly! 😂"

"The hotel is a short distance from the beach, but you can reach the sandy beach via a lovely 15-minute walk. The area around the hotel was clean. The room was spacious, clean and tidied every day. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful. Our son loved all the waitresses, but he liked Mrs Maria the most. She always played with him for a while, had a bit of a laugh, and was very kind and friendly. The food was always varied and there was a great selection. If you’re considering a peaceful holiday, a hotel away from the hustle and bustle but still a short walk from the sea, and a place where your child will love it, definitely don’t hesitate :)"

"Currently six days into a two week stay and we are loving it! The rooms are clean and spacious, the pool is perfect for the size of the hotel and the hotel is a ten minute stroll into Stalis, with its fabulous restaurants, bars and beach. Efi and her family that own the hotel are so lovely. They are friendly, helpful and kind. Their food is absolutely delicious, we have lunch and snacks through the day and it is all cooked to order. Looking forward to another week of their fantastic hospitality. Thanks guys, we would thoroughly recommend Dionysos to anyone. We are here as a large family, all the feedback has been very positive."
