Check in at the hotel, in town was very uninspiring. Just presented with a key and emergency telephone numbers. The apartment was up an outside flight of 15 concrete steps. The room is quite dated, flyscreens on the opening window was not secured, however, on a positive note, the bed was comfortable and linens of good quality. We stayed for 3 nights but didn't have any towels changed during that time!... the room was only serviced on one occasion. Rather disappointed in the lack of service.

Great staff and servide

Arriving close to dusk, before 5 PM, please, please listen to the hotel staff: check in at the Stanley Hotel in the town center first, get your key, and then go to your accommodation. The hotel is right by the sea, like a sea-view room on a boat. After having a beer at the Stanley Hotel, I didn't try the popular seafood restaurant next door, as it was closing time. Stanley is truly beautiful and comfortable.

We checked in at the end of winter and the beginning of spring. The motel is right by the sea, at the foot of a big rock, with many seagulls in Stanley Bay behind it. The scenery is pleasant, the hotel has complete facilities and large windows with sea views. The design of the hotel is very retro, the environment is clean and tidy, and hot water is available at a limited time, from 9:30 in the morning to 11:00 in the evening. You need to go to the nearby Stanley Hotel reception to get the key. You can walk to the beach at night to watch the penguins return to their nests. It is very close and convenient. There is also a lonely cafe and a small fishing port near the hotel. You can walk there to relax.

Beautiful cottage by the sea

The room is comfortable, warm and spacious. You can see the sea through the window. It's a great experience.

Check in and check out at the hotel next door. The location is very good, opposite the lobster restaurant and very close to the pier. The sunrise and sunset sea views are great. You can also see little penguins in the evening, and there are little kangaroos on the grass on the way back to the parking lot.

The room was upgraded to a two-bedroom, room 10, which was really great, except for having to move the luggage to the second floor. In addition, check-in is not here, but at the Stanley hotel, which is about 500 meters away.

The room is very large, you can directly see the sea during the day, and the lost little penguins will also come to the door at night. Across the road is the famous Hursey seafood. At night, the little penguins and Tasmanian penguins scream loudly. The laundry room is free, but if you wash it at night, there is no light in the room, it will be a bit noisy, and there will be flies. There is insecticide in the room, you can go to the laundry room to spray it first.

Everything else is pretty good. You can really see penguins downstairs, but you have to complain a bit. The hotel reception is very far away from the hotel. You can see a lobster restaurant, and then walk uphill until you see the hotel reception.
