2-Star Hotels in Dongxing

Old hotel with an old man taking care of all the duties and business. No much things to do in this boarder town as foods, fruits are no cheap. Our intention is to cross the boarder to Vietnam. Beware, there is a long line waiting for exit stamp at the immigration. As it is in the late evening so we turn back before our turn. The local people told us that we will be wasting our time in opposite immigration when returning to this town as the post open till 9:00pm only. However, this hotel roof top can view the Vietnam side across the river (picture).

the hotel has a beautiful view of the city at the rooftop restaurant. you can go up to admire the view day and night. the buffet breakfast is simple yet nutritious. the hotel staff is efficient and helpful. i asked for chili and it was promptly given to me. the room is very cozy and has a good street view too. the only setback is the hotel is located quite a distance from the border gate and ***** transport. it will not be a problem if you have your own transport.

This hotel is really great! It has an elevator and the price is affordable! I'd definitely come back if I have the chance again! It's clean and hygienic!

A beautiful apartment with a very large terrace. There were even two double beds and the apartment was definitely big enough for two or even four. Everything was very clean, and of course there were fresh towels and bed linen. The reception is in a shop on the ground floor. I was greeted very friendly and accompanied to my room. The whole process was very pleasant and I can recommend the apartment and the host.

A young arrogant reception ( the one with glasses) refused to honour my booking, the advertised room with RIVERVIEW saying it was sold out and offering me a small room with no view. After calls to the owner she agreed to give me the room if I paid extra. After more discussion with her boss she relented after I threatened a poor review. This arguing took at least half an hour of stress and anxiety, the receptionist insisting my phone was the problem even though I showed her the screenshot of my booking confirmation. I went to reserve another night but had to agree to a higher price. I wanted to stay at least four nights but too stressful playing their game.

I accidentally chose Haotai Hotel. The front desk received me very warmly. I entered the room. Mom, all of them are new. At first glance, this room is new. I am very satisfied and the price is good. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the port. I recommend you to rest here. Shopping around is too convenient. Convenient transportation. From the hotel to the high-speed rail station is also close, take a taxi for 18 yuan. It is really recommended to Zhu Haotai. I do skin care shopping. ***************

It's a decent private hotel, acceptable overall. It's relatively close to the East Bus Station, but the surrounding commercial facilities are average. It's suitable for travelers who are just passing through and need a one-night stay.

It's very original, and the accommodation environment is certainly not as good as a hotel, but the advantage is that it's really close to the seaside, and it's very convenient to catch the sea at night. The hygiene is average, and the decoration of the seaside B&Bs on this road is not very good. So it’s worth it to be close to the beach and convenient for swimming, digging in the sand and catching the sea! It's just that the price of accommodation is not directly proportional to the decoration of the room. In short, if you choose this one with the advantage of being close to the seaside, you have to endure the average decoration conditions.

Location is 2 mins walk from Bus Terminal/ 950m from Dong Xing Port. Just a 600m walk to reach Town Central for Tourists must-see and Malls. Bus stop is just front of the hotel. Room is very spacious and clean comes with private bathroom, AC works well and TV is with signals for local channel. Wifi is of good speed and hot shower is always available. Staff at lobby is friendly and has a drinking water dispenser at lobby as well. Safe for solo female traveller.

The hotel is relatively old, and the hardware facilities are like those of a recruitment agency in the 1970s. The mattresses are relatively hard and there is no peculiar smell. It is convenient for travel and is close to the port, just a few minutes' walk away.
