QianxixinliangI visited Xijiang during the Dragon Boat Festival. This inn is conveniently located not far from Xiaobei Gate, tucked away in an alley next to the museum. There aren't many stairs to climb, and it's very close to the main street. Both the hallways and the rooms in the inn looked very clean. Our room had a balcony, though unfortunately, the view was blocked by the building in front. However, the standard room had two 1.5-meter beds, which was perfect for a family stay. The owners of the inn were incredibly warm and hospitable. The owner even came to pick up our luggage when we arrived at Xiaobei Gate. The next day, I felt a bit shy asking him to drop us off again, so we just walked back to Xiaobei Gate ourselves. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

We had a lovely stay with this kind young family. Our favourite part was eating a delicious dinner with the family around their wood fire, we will fondly remember this. (Make sure to reserve dinner with them as the restaurants in the village close at night in winter, also it's much nicer to eat as a family). We communicated with translation apps and learned a lot about the village life and culture. The wife kindly opened her shop out of hours for us too. Remember to bring thermal clothes for the mountain at night time. In the morning we found a delicious and modern coffee shop in the square with the pond. In December the welcome ceremony was at 11am at the village entrance with a show at 11.30am outside the museum. Thank you again to this lovely family for hosting us, we had a fabulous time together.

This trip to Kaili was originally planned to include the Miao Village of a Thousand Households, but due to traffic congestion, we decided to go to Langde instead. I'm so glad I chose the Ru Ni Suo Yuan B&B. The B&B was reasonably priced, a real bargain considering the skyrocketing hotel prices in Guizhou. The location was excellent, convenient for getting around, very close to the sightseeing bus stop, and directly opposite the first row of the twelve traditional Miao banquet halls. The balcony had a beautiful balustrade with stunning views. The twin room had two 1.5-meter double beds with mattresses of just the right firmness, making for a very comfortable sleep. I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom had a smart toilet, a stable hot water supply in the shower, and free disposable towels and toilet seat covers—very clean and hygienic. What touched me most was the owner's meticulous care. The owner personally helped us with our luggage during check-in and check-out, enthusiastically recommended local delicacies, and after watching the Miao village performance at noon, I suffered from heatstroke. The owner kindly extended my check-out time and even gave me two bottles of water before I left. I was extremely grateful. It wasn't just the owner's family; the Miao villagers were incredibly hospitable. Near the performance area, there was a place with delicious and generous portions of shaved ice. An auntie invited me to her home for dinner and rice wine. In the evening, while strolling around the village, a Miao grandmother, worried we might get lost, proactively asked if we had any difficulties. The young lady at the photo studio was warm and talkative, sharing many interesting stories… The twelve rounds of welcoming wine and the song and dance performances were spectacular and full of ethnic charm. In short, this trip to Langde was very enjoyable, and I will definitely come back again in the future.

Guest UserAn amazing place on top of the mountain with kind and welcoming hosts. We were able to enjoy a delicious dinner upon arrival, and the breakfast the next morning was also very tasty. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the shower had good water pressure with both hot and cold water available. Having these comforts in the mountains already deserves the highest rating. The small bedside lamp added a warm and cozy atmosphere in the evening. It's thoughtful little details like these that make guests feel truly relaxed and well cared for. You can also walk up the hill to enjoy beautiful views of the village and the surrounding tea plantations. Thank you! 🙏

ShajiaqiqiThe location is excellent, right at the No. 4 covered bridge, offering fantastic views, especially at night. You can take a sightseeing bus from the No. 1 covered bridge to the viewing platform, saving you the trouble of carrying your luggage up the mountain.

Yena huiThe place is a bit hard to find, so don't trust navigation too much when you're nearby. Ask the owner for his personal number in advance. The cell phone signal in the shop isn't very good. Unable to find the location, unable to reach the owner, and no one around had heard of the shop, the four of us were lost for half an hour. It's a small courtyard with green plants at the entrance. The environment is okay, and we like it. The soundproofing is acceptable for a wooden house. It's close to the old street, but not right next to the main street, so it's quiet for sleeping. There's a drying area, which is great. There was only one cup for brushing teeth, and the owner said they had none left, so we had to share. I... The quilt on the bed was very comfortable and thin. The elders said it was made of silk cotton, unlike some shops where the quilts are universal for all seasons. The owner is very wealthy, and his dowry is on display in the living room. Maybe there were too many customers, and the owner might have mistaken someone for the wrong person. Hehe!

The bedding in the hotel is very comfortable. The Jinkoer brand mattress is very comfortable. The room price of a few hundred yuan can get the quality of a hotel worth two to three thousand yuan. It is very affordable. When you go to the hotel, you will be shown the room and you can choose by yourself. There are ones close to the street and those close to the courtyard. You can choose. The hotel service is also very good. It sent out travel guides which are very considerate. There are also free rentals of traditional Miao costumes at the hotel. The boss is so enthusiastic, I wish the boss a fortune😘😘

The room was clean and tidy. The boss personally picked us up at the station. The view in the room was particularly beautiful. The mountains in the distance were shrouded in clouds and mist, and the entire village was in sight. The view was even better at night! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while lying in bed in the morning, it’s like a fairyland!
