I told the boss in advance that we can have breakfast in the morning. We had a sumptuous lunch at an acceptable price. We went to climb the Great Wall before dawn. I heard from the boss that the red leaves on the Great Wall are still there. There is no discoloration. It will be more beautiful after October. I can recommend friends who love photography to come with me next time😃

I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a night or more, near Jinshanling Middle Gate Great Wall. It is just beside the ticket counter. And when other shops are closed after sunset, the property can still cook up some dinner for the guests. When I came out at 9:30, the tourists slowly had some. The boss is also very good, we want to buy a bottle of water and send a bottle directly.

En la zona no hay casi nada de oferta gastronómica pero en el alojamiento preparan muy rica comida casera y tienen muy buena predisposición para adaptarse a las necesidades de los huéspedes, tanto en cuanto a qué comer como a los horarios y demás. Fueron siempre muy amables. La única desventaja para mí fue que mi habitación tenía ventanas a un espacio interior, por lo que llegaba ruido del comedor y no tenía vistas, para tener privacidad mantuve la cortina cerrada. Igualmente eso seguro se puede resolver reservando una habitación diferente. Las instalaciones son muy cómodas (camas, baño, ducha, etc). Lo recomiendo totalmente

The boss is a very professional photographer in the local area, and he is a chef, and a shop second, really all-rounder, and Zhong is a good person. Zhong has two in-laws who are very kind. We drove the car to the visitor center and ran the handbag. We hope to have a five-star accommodation. Since there are no nearby, we have breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Hometown food, Beijing eats more coarse grains. If you don’t have an appetite, you can see the wisdom, but I like it the most. Especially millet porridge and millet cake! The homestay is taken care of by a family. The proprietress will be at home as soon as she receives it. If there is a cockroach, she will open her voice. So it really feels like home. The room is clean and well-organized. The super-standard service like a homestay in the wilderness of the mountain is very glazed! I will choose Wanlai again next time!

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.
