"Beachfront residence, enjoyed going to the beach and getting into the calm waters. Residence is clean, well-maintained with simple amenities. Owner Liza is very warm and friendly, and responds fast to guests requests."

GGuest User1) Located at Kedawang area which is opposite Holiday Villa & next to Aloft, If the Grab driver can't locate the place.
2) The mural on the wall depicts ”Cactus 🌵Inn” If u don't realise where is it after alighting from the Grab. 🤓 Friendly staff.
3) More of a private own premise converted into a comfortable Inn which has a little cafe next to it that serves light menu & plays good old 60s & 70s music that'll reminisce the past. 🎶👍🏻 Of course, the Inn doesn't look like what it has illustrated in the booking platform. More plants & less cleanliness!
4) Room facilities were well equipped wt mineral water, coffee sachet, hairdryer, TV, aircond, fan, shower gel, towels & toilet roll. 🤗
5) A cosy place for the night wt free wifi But Full of insect bugs flying in the bathroom! I killed 10 insect bugs, I guess they flew in from the bathroom window which is situated next to the backyard. Ensure you close your bathroom door to avoid the irritating insect bugs in your room! Otherwise it's a quiet place just for a night. There's another cafe Next to Cactus Inn called ”ARC” that serves Nyonya & Portuguese food! Don't miss the Chicken Pongteh!! 😋👍🏻 Friendly staffs though price can be steep!

RrainnietohI booked it for my friend, who said it was 5-10 minutes away from the beach. The room was clean and tidy, at least there was no sand in the room. It was quite clean and you could rent a motorcycle to travel around the island. It had everything you would expect from a normal B&B.

GGuest UserA pleasant and convenient stay at Sri Embun Resort in Langkawi!
The resort offers a clean, peaceful, and well-maintained environment, making it a very comfortable place to stay.
Its location is excellent — just a 7–8 minute walk to the local walking street and the beach, where you can find food, shops, and plenty of activities.
Getting around is also extremely easy. Grab rides are quick and reliable, and it only took about 10 minutes to reach the airport, costing just around 12 MYR.
Overall, a great stay with superb value. Highly recommended for travelers visiting Langkawi!

DDrShah786It was a good experience and the most important thing was the staff, they are amazing people, help a lot during a short stay, the hotel accommodations were great and up to the budget. Can recommend you if you have not too much requirements. Also the hotel can improve the washroom drainage system.

(1) ants in and around the room - likes to linger around the table bench and toilet sink
(2) our room 310, air con fan is hitting something making a loud and repetitive noise when air con was turned on.
(3) room 310 also happens to be the room directly facing the cenang mall entrance whereby a busker performs every night. its till 11pm when they stop so you'll be faced with loud music till then if you're a light sleeper
(4) lifts have restricted access during night time but staircase is opened 24 hrs.
(5) walls are quite thin, most guests behaved apart from a russian group whom had decided at 2:30am to drink, sing in the foyer and play their loud music with their doors opened. called staff to settle this noise complaint and staff called back to our room (waking us up) shortly after to confirm whether the noise was present.
(6) clogging shower + mouldy ceilings. no shower door and exhaust fan does not work inside the toilet.
PROS:
(1) good location, infront of beach/ infront of cenang mall
(2) complimentary 4 x soft drinks in the fridge
(3) has a balcony, go city views and a good place to hang laundry if you have any.

WwAco-jEsusOf course, you get what you pay for. And Paretto is a perfect example of righteousness of this proverb. Yes, hotel is really cheap, but offers decent family rooms with two comfortable beds and a great location in Cenang. But these two are actually only positives of Paretto. Also good were both aircons except one day when one wasnt working.
The hotel and everything in the hotel is old and outdated. The locks on the doors in the room are almost all broken, the shower room isn't kept clean, mould is all over the walls. Our balcony faced inner corridor of the hotel thus it was always extremely hot at the balcony. Overall all furniture and bed sheets are quite old and looked tired.
If you are budget traveller - Paretto is ok for maximum 3-4 nights, but if you need more comfort and modern hotel - try to avoid.

MM25838****The water heater was broken on the day I checked in, so I had to take a cold shower. The bathroom fan was also broken and wasn't fixed during my three-day stay. Ctrip was helpful in resolving the issue and communication was effective.
