Welcome to our cabin just 15 minutes to Lake George and only 1 mile from the Buck Mountain Trailhead. The cabin is completely private, located on more than one acre of land just minutes from The Fort Ann beach. The cabin is located between exits 20 and 21 off of I-87 North (about 60 miles north of Albany, NY). Our cabin offers lots of Adirondack charm and is the perfect get-a-way place to gather family and friends for a vacation. THE SPACEKitchen: The cabin has a modern kitchen with an island and bar counter top with 4 stools. Stocked with your kitchen essentials to cook a home cooked meal. Microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, Air Fryer, blender, utensils, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, wine glasses, wine opener, pizza cutter, and more provided. Outdoor grill as well. Bedrooms: We have 2 bedrooms upstairs. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed and a trundle bed that turns into 2 single beds. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have plenty of closet and dresser space is needed. There are long length mirrors on the back of both bedroom doors. We have a sleeper sofa with a Bob-o-Pedic memory foam mattress with no springs that sleeps 2 people. Pillows and linens for pull out sofa are behind the recliner. Our cabin can accommodate 8 people. Living Room Areas/Dining Areas: The cabin is low tech. Your cell phone will work and there is a TV with a few DVD’s and HDMI cable to connect to a laptop. There is a landline phone along with Wi-Fi.We have 2 living room areas with 3 comfortable couches and a recliner chair. Amazon fire TV stick and Vermont casting wood burning stove. Directions for TV and wood burning stove will be provided. We have a few board games, card games, puzzles and books for a rainy day game night. Bathrooms: We have 2 full bathrooms with stand up shower or clawfoot tub with a shower head. Washer and Dryer are available for use. The directions can be found on top of the washing machine. Outside: There is an outdoor entertaining space with a large patio and a stone firepit . Feel free to use the firewood available for burning , no large fires please. There are local stores and vendors that sell firewood in case you need more. There is a propane BBQ grill with a tank provided. Please shut the gas off on the tank between uses. There is also a large outdoor table to dine outside with plenty of seating. A front porch with a table and seating to have your morning coffee or to watch a sunset. Play in the pedal boat, canoe or on one of the Stand-Up Paddleboards, swim or fish. You can even use the paddleboards like open kayaks with the detachable seats. Spend an evening around the campfire eating S’mores, telling ghost stories and making memories. This unique property was actually built and used as a vacation rental in the 1930s until 1954. The soothing atmosphere of the large screened-in porch is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or while gathered around with family and friends over dinner while enjoying the beautiful views of Copeland Pond. Take in the views of the lake and the mountains while cuddled in one of the rocking chairs, or just grab a book and relax.This is a smoke-free property.
