2-Star Hotels in Rapid City

The watermark was not open. That was rather disappointing beings that's why we rented the room there

Excellent customer service. The hotel is clean. Delicious breakfast.

The room is comfortable, they have several food for breakfast, it just when it’s too crowded we have to queue for long time. But overall service was great and we enjoy it

The hotel is located at the northeast corner of the outer ring of the rapid city, with McDonald's next door. The hotel has a swimming pool. It is convenient on high speed. Wind cave elevator maintenance, you must first check before going. I came across a tornado from the Badlands National Park. .

Great hotel. Clean, comfy bed, great shower, quiet. The only thing was the Wifi wasn’t working ‘for laptops’. Was able to use the Wi-Fi from the hotel next door, though.

Stay was good, beds were comfortable, breakfast was a nice variety, and room clean. Was a disappointment that the keys were demagnetized multiple times and we even kept it away from our phones as instructed when it happened the first time. Hot tub was a good temp, unfortunately the jets were not really high functioning and there was barely working, overall nice to soak for a little bit. We would chose to stay here again in the future as the cons were minimal.

We had a pleasant stay at the Foothills Inn (Rapid City, SD.  The room was recently renovated, in 2025 per the hotel’s online info.  The furnitures & room decorations look homey & appealing.  The bed is firm & the bedding is comfortable.  For breakfast, the hotel sweetly offers microwave-ready cheese hamburgers which are not often seen in most of the hotels we stay during our 2-week trip.  We’d not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Tourist town, the facilities in the room are too simple to deal with. The design of the wooden bedside has a sharp edge and corner. If you don't pay attention, it is especially easy to scratch your head. The bedding is still very clean.

It is what I expect. Except that some power outlets of the room are broken, and the AC is not working. Nonetheless it is acceptable. And for the AC I was informed before check in.

Clean room. Breakfast could have been better than processed food. I got charged 5 USD per night from booking through trip.com. The staff told me that it is the fee that they usually charge the guest who book their place through 3th parties. With that, they should inform beforehand. Charging without prior notice is unacceptable.
