2-Star Hotels in San Rafael

"I've now stayed at the Panama Hotel about 5 times, since last June. I'm a big fan of very old hotels with history, and this one has it in spades. I always stay in the Roy Rogers room, with all its vintage knotty pine interior. It's always clean, as is the bathroom and kitchenette next door. I've never had an issue with sharing the bathrooms (there are two on the floor)... Enos, the proprietor, is always helpful and welcoming. It's clear he takes great pride in his job. And the good news is the dining room is now open for dinner only, which the locals are celebrating, as it's been unavailable for a long while... The Panama Hotel is my creaky, quirky, homey, home-away-from-home that I'll return to again and again... 🤠🥰"
