Typisches My Place, zentral in Redding unweit der Autobahn I-5 gelegen. Fast alle großen Fast-Food-Ketten in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft, auch zum Supermarkt (Safeway) ist es nicht weit. Das Zimmer war geräumig und makellos sauber. Die kleine Küche ist My-Place-Standard, Geschirr bekommt man optional an der Rezeption. Dort kann man sich auch notdürftig mit kleineren Snacks und Getränken eindecken. Frühstück gab es nicht.

Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Our room was clean but sparse. Very plain room with no toiletries except for soap and shampoo in pump bottles. I did find someone’s shower cap hanging from the bathroom door. The bed was comfortable but didn’t sleep very well due to some machine noise outside. We were disappointed that the breakfast was only until 9am. What hotel ends breakfast so early? We don’t want to wake up early just to eat breakfast. Weirdest thing. Overall, it was an okay stay. We were just passing through for the night. If we pass through again, don’t think we’d stay again. Do recommend Willy’s brewery and restaurant in downtown and Black Bear diner for breakfast.
