3-Star Hotels in Hualien

My first impression was how incredibly warm and attentive the service was. Every question I had was met with a satisfactory answer, and they even proactively helped me with directions for dining out and cycling routes around the island. Since we had two bikes, the staff thoughtfully asked if we needed to switch to a larger, more suitable room. Their service attitude truly deserves high praise. The room was also perfect, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my 11-day island-wide trip in Taiwan.

My stay here last year was great, so I decided to come back for my round-the-island trip this year. When checking in, I asked the front desk about motorcycle parking. The staff member, whose name tag said 'Intern,' told me I could park anywhere on the white lines along the road next to the hotel. I then asked if the parking lot across the street, where I parked last year, was still an option. A man and a woman next to the counter said that was for cars and heavy motorcycles (even though I wasn't riding a heavy motorcycle last year either). I said 'okay' and went to look for white lines on the road next to the hotel (as shown in the photo). Turns out, the road had just been repaved and there were no markings at all. If you expect us to find our own parking, you should at least clarify that the road markings are gone. I'm not a local, so how would I know what markings used to be there? And the full-time staff member next to the intern also just replied, as if it wasn't their problem, 'You can park on the white lines nearby.' Where exactly are these 'nearby white lines'? Anyway, the breakfast was good. If you're on a budget, I highly recommend this place.

The hotel is about 6 min walk from the railway station, the dormitory room was good ( en-suite toilet and shower ). Small kitchen, drinking water, washing machine (20 TWD) and lounge with reception downstairs. The receptionist was knowledgeable and friendly. Next door is laundry, many places to eat around, and the night market is about 25 min walk. There is a small park 3 min walk from the hostel with some outdoor gym equipment if you would like to exercise. Keep in mind that you may hear a noise from trains passing close and airplanes landing, it wasn't disturbing me, but it is good to have ear plugs if you are sensitive noise

Island Tour (Hualien), stay in a deluxe sea view double room, 4 rooms on the first floor, the room is very large, the balcony looks out to Hualien Port, you can see the sea and the ship loading and unloading goods and entering and exiting the port, it is great, the service staff are also very good Great, friendly to road bikes. There is a dedicated area and gym for road bikes on the second floor. The breakfast is okay. The small drawback is that the partition wall of the bathing area in the room is small, and water easily splashes into the sleeping area. The water dispenser uses a large bucket of spring water to heat and drink ( Not good for babies and children), I hope filtered drinking water can be improved and the opportunity will be better.

Stayed two days in a quad room. This was my third stay. The room was very clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly. If there's no parking available, they'll even move their company car and let you park. It's across the street from 7-Eleven, and there's also a TP-Link nearby. Zhongmei Street has many delicious restaurants, so it's quite convenient. If I had to find a negative, it would be: The rooftop pool is quite small. Even with four people in it, it's usually full. It's too hot during the day and only open until around 9 PM. The breakfast on the first floor has a good selection of special dishes, but for some reason the air conditioning isn't cooling enough, so the food is a bit warm. Overall, it's quite good.

Located on the seaside with a great view! You can enjoy the sunrise in your room

This hostel is absolutely fantastic! It's about a five to six-minute walk from Hualien Station. The beds and towels are very clean, and the bathroom is spacious with a large mirror. You can even enjoy a view of the mountain city from the room. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, and they offer free bicycle rentals. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

It's very close to the night market. You can also have breakfast. The room and toilet are large and very comfortable.

The hotel's location is a slight drawback, as it's about a 20-minute walk to the night market. However, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Guests can also enjoy complimentary tea, cookies, and small snacks in the lobby. Overall, it's a good hotel option in Hualien City.

This time, we stayed at Kuanpinju B&B, located on the banks of Meilun Creek in Hualien. It's about a 15-minute walk to the left of Hualien Station, with many restaurants and shops along the way. The facilities are very convenient, the room is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean. It felt like home. Everyone is welcome to experience it when visiting Hualien.
