3-Star Hotels in Jiujiang

This is a hotel-style guesthouse with new decor. They offer free shuttle service to and from the cable car station and nearby bus stops. The service is excellent. My first guesthouse in Lushan wasn't very comfortable, so I switched to this one the next day. Even though it was off-season, they upgraded my room for free. They also have a buffet breakfast, which is much more convenient than buying food elsewhere. The room has a water dispenser with adjustable temperature, and the large projector screen is fantastic. I even subscribed to VIP memberships for video streaming services, making watching videos a great experience. There's also a desk in the room, making it easy to use a computer. Overall, a great place!

The B&B is located at the foot of Mount Lushan, within walking distance of the East Gate of Mount Lushan. It has convenient transportation and complete living facilities. The room and terrace face Wulao Peak, offering a magnificent view of the mountains. On sunny days, you can see the sparkling Poyang Lake, and on rainy days, the clouds and mist are lingering, like a fairyland. Especially at sunrise and sunset, the natural landscape of changing light and shadow is fascinating. The boss prepares fresh breakfast every day, which combines local characteristics with home-style flavors, taking into account both nutrition and taste, and injecting vitality into the whole day's journey. The homestay is far away from the main road, and the only sound you can hear at night is the chirping of natural insects. The well-soundproofed guest rooms ensure a deep sleep. Some room types are equipped with a viewing terrace, providing exclusive private leisure space.

Hotel location is very good, there is an underground garage parking is convenient, clean, facilities and equipment are a bit old and need to be updated, the hotel recommended at the front desk is good, is the most special dish eaten in Jiangxi these days

The views from the room were absolutely stunning—you can enjoy beautiful mountain scenery right from your window, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. However, the location is a bit far from 牯岭正街, where most restaurants and tour bus stations are. It takes about a 15–20 minute walk, which can feel quite tiring after a full day of climbing and exploring in Lushan. There is a shortcut—about an 8-minute uphill walk to the cableway station where you can catch the tour bus to 牯岭正街—but the last bus is at 6:40pm. If you stay out later, you’ll need to walk back (which can be quite a workout 😂). The hotel provides a washing machine and dryer, but there’s only one of each, so you may need to wait during busy periods. Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for scenic views and a peaceful stay. However, it may not be the most convenient option if you’re traveling with elderly family members. One big plus is the free pick-up and drop-off service from the cableway, which is very helpful.

The hotel offers a complimentary pickup service from the Lushan mountain bus station and the mountain cable car entrance. I was really touched that they came to pick me up even though I was the only guest. After I got off the cable car, I called them, and they arrived in just a few minutes, like my own private car, haha. Once we arrived, the staff carried my luggage all the way to the hotel. After I checked in, they even brought it to my room – so thoughtful! The front desk also helped me plan my itinerary and told me about the sightseeing bus schedule. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the main street, with beautiful views. The dehumidifier worked wonders! My clothes dried completely overnight after I washed them. The only minor downside is the lack of large bath towels (I heard this is common in Jiangxi). They provide thin, disposable towels, which aren't quite enough if you have long hair...

There are more mosquitoes in summer, but the store also prepares mosquito killer lamps and so on. The hardware facilities should be considered very good in this environment. It is very suitable as a foothold at the bottom of the mountain. There is still quite a distance from the entrance of Lushan Mountain to the entrance of the cableway up the mountain. This B&B is the closest. It was already ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived at Lushan. Although we could drive up the mountain, we thought it was too dangerous, so we temporarily decided to stay here for one night and go up the mountain the next morning. It was wise. The store also sent a car to pick us up. It is very close to the entrance to the ropeway and takes ten minutes to walk, but there is a ladder that is quite dangerous. Elderly people should be cautious and be careful with large luggage. Free simple breakfast provided. There is an additional charge for exceeding two bottles of water per room.

This is the largest B&B at the foot of the mountain. It is very close to Donglin Temple, just a few minutes' walk away. Donglin Temple is definitely worth a visit. The owner of the B&B is amazing. We are a family of seven, and the owner arranged two cars for pick-up and drop-off every time. He kept giving us drinking water during our trip, which was convenient for us to carry when we went out. He also arranged a car for us to go to Sandiequan, Lushan Giant Buddha, Bailudong Academy, Xiufeng and other attractions. In addition, the B&B also provides breakfast. The breakfast is clean and hygienic, and the food and drinks are more than enough. I will stay at their home next time I come to Lushan. My three children all love staying in their parent-child room. I highly recommend it. Friends who come to Lushan should stay at Huazhu Shanshui Tan B&B.

Hotel location is OK, not far from the ropeway station and the main street, when you check in and leave, you will arrange a car transfer to the ropeway, which is good. When playing, you have to walk by yourself. The hotel environment and facilities are OK. There is no elevator. You need to take the stairs. The building is not high. It is a total of 3 floors, but if the legs and feet are inconvenient, you have to consider it. The bathroom is relatively short, the room size is average, and the door is too close to the bed. There is a fixed stool on the side of the table, if you put another chair. It is better to install a full-length mirror in the room, otherwise it is inconvenient for one person to wash and the other person to use the mirror.
