As with the other reviews, the service here is amazing. You have the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room. During check-in, the staff will personally bring you to your room. If you arrived early or plan to leave sun moon lake much later after check out, you can leave your bags or luggage to the staff to keep. Staff here also offers tickets to the ferry, bicycle rental, cable car and other services available. The only con is that there is no lakeview, but everything else is very accessible. Bus station, Ferry station, 7-11 and restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. As for the room itself, the toilet is equipped with bidet. There's also some snacks and teabags for you. Electric mosquito repellent is also available if there's a need to, but I did not encounter any bugs in the room. Room is also modernly designed and most importantly, clean and bugs-free! Bed is of soft and comfortable type. I nearly dozed off while lying on bed. Wifi's strong as well. Would highly recommend to others who plans to visit sun moon lake. This hotel has almost everything you need, convenience, amazing service, and good food.

This is the best hotel during my trip. The receptionist staff was very friendly and helpful! We even get an early check in. The room was clean and has amazing view. It is right infront of the street food market and the ship dock. The breakfast buffet was okay!

They offer cup noodles, braised pork rice, and oden for a late-night snack, so you don't have to go out to eat when you're up on the mountain. The staff's service attitude was good. Unfortunately, the hotel facilities are a bit old and run down, and there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. The roadside signs for driving there were unclear, and parking spaces were quite tight.

I highly recommend this guesthouse; it's a must-stay to truly enjoy your trip. We, a group of three, stayed in a loft room, which was pristine, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The showerhead alone was fantastic, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom meant even four people wouldn't have to queue. The guesthouse comprises multiple buildings scattered around, requiring some stair climbing, giving it a bit of a dormitory feel. So, it might be challenging for those with mobility issues. The room rate is very reasonable; a 4-person room for one night was HKD554, including a buffet breakfast. If you're not an active person and prefer to relax indoors and enjoy some quiet, this place is absolutely worth it!

The hotel's location is excellent, right by Shuishe Pier. I booked a lake view room, and the view of Sun Moon Lake and the mountains behind it was indeed beautiful. Overall, both the hotel and the room itself are quite old and in need of some serious renovation and cleaning. When I checked in, the front desk charged me 300 NTD per day for parking, but I later saw in other reviews that some people only paid 250 NTD? On the ceiling of my room, there were clear black spots, which I suspect were either insects or mold. The hotel really needs to invest in maintenance and cleaning; it can't just rely on its location to attract guests.

Everything was okay, hostel was a little bit far from the bus stop but nevertheless still a good location. Breakfast was not for us because we are used to having heavy breakfast meals and vegetables and a sandwich isn't enough for our big appetite. I would certainly recommend the hotel and be back to stay longer.

The view from the hotel balcony was absolutely amazing, and the buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. It's also super close to Kamikochi Yakiniku restaurant, so I highly recommend it!

Unbeatable location & insane lake views! 😍 The Good: Perfect Location: Seriously, the location is unbeatable. It’s right at Shuishe Pier, so starting your Sun Moon Lake boat trips or bike rides is a breeze. Super Easy to Get To: If you're taking public transit, it's just a short walk from the main bus stop for the Taipei/Taichung shuttle buses. Total lifesaver if you have luggage. That View Though!: The absolute highlight was the room's balcony. The view facing directly onto Sun Moon Lake is stunning. Waking up to that scenery was worth every penny! The Not-So-Good: Basic Amenities: Just a heads-up that the hotel is pretty minimalist with the amenities they provide. They’re quite limited, so you might want to pack your own favorite toiletries. Overall: Honestly, for the views and the convenience alone, I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend grabbing a lake-view room!

The hotel is considerably cheaper than others in the area with similar-looking rooms and it is brilliantly-located right at the lakefront and only 2 minutes away from the bus terminal. The staff is very friendly and you even get a discount voucher for the nearby bike rental. I booked a room without a window and got one with two windows which is absolutely appreciated. I even had a very large bathroom with a gorgeous and huge bathtub which was an unexpected luxury. Overall the room is clean and comfortable. The AC works perfectly, the bed is comfortable enough for a few days, and the the linen and towels were fresh. The interior is dated which didn't bother me me much because it was still as clean as dated interior can get and therefore definitely clean enough for me and for most travellers. I actually kinda liked the old charme. The walls are thin, though it doesn't matter so much because there aren't many rooms per floor. The breakfast was surprisingly nice and located in another hotel right at the lakefront so that you have stunning views!

Booked two rooms with two double beds each with a friend. We were disgusted to find urine stains on the toilet in both rooms, which clearly hadn't been cleaned properly 🤢. However, considering we stayed during the 228 long weekend, the price was relatively good value for money. Also, upon arrival, we realized the hotel name wasn't 'Tandao Yuju' as we thought; our navigation said we had arrived, but we couldn't even find the hotel.
