Love the vibes! It’s spacious and comfortable, able to accommodate 4 adults! Owner will msg you via WhatsApp on the day for check-in as they will need to know your mode of transportation to Jiufen. They will pick you up personally on the day of arrival to advise you the direction of their place.
Do note that some of their rooms are not connected together. For my case, I’ve booked 2 rooms. My room and my mom’s room is about 5 mins walk. Might be an hassle if you are traveling with your family. It wasn’t an issue for me as we’re able-bodied. This is definitely not for everyone especially if you planned to bring pram and many luggages. Please travel light here.. the stairs to your room are uneven , wet and steep.
Owner provides simple breakfast and deliver to you in the morning. Very warming..

Hi
If you visit on a rainy day, the staff can take the initiative to take you to visit the nearby museum or art exhibits.
The location is quiet but remote. It would be nice if there is a shuttle to nearby Jiufen or Shifen. One shuttle a day is enough.
The breakfast is very rich, great!
The staff took the initiative to take care of the elderly, great!

Yanapatra WinaisiwilaiI had visited Jiufen, Taiwan once before, but this second trip truly exceeded expectations. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the host’s attention to detail were all absolutely outstanding.
The scenery from the accommodation was breathtaking — truly a million-dollar view! The room itself was spacious, almost like staying in an entire house. The price per person came out to just a little over 1,100 THB, but what we received was far more valuable than what we paid.
The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering us detailed travel suggestions and making us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s home. What touched us the most was that, on the day we left, the host even rode a motorbike to personally drop us off at the bus stop.
It’s the little acts of kindness like that that make a place unforgettable.

Guest UserThe room was huge, and opening the door led right to the beach, which was incredibly convenient. There was even a shower facility right outside the door, ensuring we didn't track sand back into the room. The kids absolutely loved it, and the whole family was very satisfied.

We had a pleasant and cozy stay at this B&B in Jiufen. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop...not far, but just lots of stairs to get there. The B&B owner was friendly and accommodating. We arrived early in the morning before check-in time and called to ask if we could leave our luggage. She answered promptly and kindly allowed us to do so. It takes about a 15-minute walk to Jiufen Old Street.
The room we stayed in was on the second floor. It was clean and decorated in a Moomin theme. It had two futon beds, a heater (total lifesaver on cold nights), a coffee machine with capsules (though the coffee could be better), an electric kettle, green tea (much better than the coffee), towels, and other amenities. The only downside was that we couldn’t get the TV to work. The private bathroom was located on the first floor, which wasn’t very convenient but manageable. The room did get a bit stuffy at times, but on the bright side, there was a balcony where we could open the windows, enjoy the fresh air, and even sit outside with a cup of tea while taking in the morning view.
Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.

Cute little place very close to the end of the old street. It is very tiny and there are a lot of stairs so I recommend packing light. The toilet is inside the shower and the sink faucet sprays too strongly. The view is great, we can see the mountain and sea, with the temple at the foreground. Overall, highly recommended!

The hotel is excellently located right by Fisherman's Wharf, within walking distance. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable layout and furnishings, and even the single beds were oversized. Breakfast was decent and filling, offering all the essentials. The only downside was the ground floor lobby; for some reason, there was a noticeable musty smell, which wasn't very pleasant. Beyond that, the staff's service was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Tan Kai ShengStayed at this homestay in Jiufen and had a pleasant experience. The place was clean, well-kept, and comfortable for a short stay. One of the biggest advantages is its location—it’s just a short walk to Jiufen Old Street, making it very convenient to explore the area, especially in the evening. Overall, a good choice if you’re looking for a simple, clean stay with easy access to the main attractions.

Potato__moonInitially, there was a slight hiccup with check-in because the reference number wasn't working, so the front desk staff had to help me out in the end.
Overall, the room was really comfortable. Maybe because I booked early, they were able to meet all my requests. I really have to praise the air conditioning – it was super cold! And the hot water system was good too; there was plenty of hot water for showers.
Since it's a three-star hotel, we didn't expect too much, but the cleaning staff did a pretty good job, and most importantly, nothing went missing.
As for the facilities, although I didn't use them much, I did take a look. They do have a gym, but it seemed like one of the treadmills wasn't working. The space isn't huge, but it's enough to get a workout in. They also have a public area where you can sit and eat.
Regarding service, the front desk staff were generally polite, but sometimes they weren't around. I tried calling the front desk from my room once, and no one answered.
Honestly, for this price, being able to rent this hotel is already great. However, it's not in the city center, so it does take a bit more time to get to downtown or other places.

Very convenient location as it's directly beside the Jiufen old street, so you can immediately start walking the street once you put down your luggage.
The owner & staff are really friendly when we first arrive, she will go through on the do & don't during your stay such as wearing slippers to go down the stairs and entering your room.
Me & my friends rented 3 room, so I'll only be reviewing the room I stayed in.
The room is extremely spacious with a lot of space to put down your luggage, you will also find a hanging rack at the corner of the room to hang your clothes.
As for the bathroom, it is a single connected toilet with a shower curtains to block the water from flowing into the basin area. The good thing is that the floor tile is relatively high, so when you shower it doesn't spill over to the basin area. However, the water will definitely splash into the toilet bowl area and that's also where you will be putting your clothes & towels to change there as well.
Also, like many other Taiwan hotels, you're not supposed to flush down toilet paper into the toilet bowl. Instead throw the wastes into the dustbin provided.
