3-Star Hotels in Taiyuan

The check-in experience was great. From the entrance to the check-in to the check-out, the staff are very enthusiastic and professional, the response speed is very fast, the needs raised can be solved in time, and there is a feeling of being at home. The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were very new, the bedding was very comfortable, the sound insulation effect was good, and I had a good night's sleep.

Service was great and location is just a 2 min walk from the high speed train station and subway, which was perfect as we were catching a very early train out. Do note that we had a room facing the train station and main thoroughfare road in front of the station so there was quite a bit of honking and traffic noise, especially in the daytime. However, for us this wasn’t an issue. For those who are particular about a quiet room, you might want to request for a room towards the back of the building, away from the road.

Every time I come to Taiyuan South Railway Station, I must stay at a hotel. The high-speed rail station pick-up and drop-off, the little beauty service is warm, clean and affordable, and the happy bistro opposite is a must. It is a great stay experience.

The room is very large, the location is very central to the museum, Liuxiang is close, the service is very warm, not only collected my luggage, but also the manager helped me take my luggage to the room, breakfast vegetables and content are very rich, there is definitely Samsung hardware service, the price is too affordable, I am really satisfied with staying here next time.

The location is excellent, right next to the subway, making it incredibly convenient to get around. It was also nice to be able to take an evening stroll around Yingze Park. However, the hotel itself was quite mediocre. The rooms felt stuffy and lacked proper ventilation, and the overpowering artificial scent in the lobby was very off-putting. During my two-day stay, the used towels weren't replaced after the first night. The complimentary water was also just haphazardly placed on the table. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the service felt quite inconsistent and unprofessional. I do appreciate that they proactively contacted me about an item I left behind and assisted with shipping it back.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the surrounding dining and shopping are convenient. It is recommended that the hotel improve the connection with the Trip.com reservation system and give convenient discounts for renewing the connecting rooms.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from the subway station, with convenient access to dining and shopping options nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring comfortable and soft bedding, and excellent soundproofing ensures a peaceful rest. The staff are warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out processes efficient. The breakfast spread is rich, offering a good mix of both Chinese and Western dishes made with fresh ingredients. Overall, it offers great value for money, making it an ideal choice for both business trips and leisure getaways.

The location is absolutely central, making getting around incredibly efficient. The staff were reliable and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they handled all the procedures. The room was exceptionally well-maintained, and all the facilities were very convenient to use. The bedding was wonderfully soft, and I had a truly deep and restful sleep last night. Everything was consistently excellent, making this a very successful stay. This sense of reassurance is truly invaluable when traveling.

Was a decent hotel room, was nice and clean apart from the toilet when we first got there though that was cleaned up straight away on request. We booked a non smoking room but when we first got there it had a smoke smell due to the door being left open throughout the day. All cleared up after an hour or two. Breakfast was nice and lots to choose from. Fairly close to the town and shops, about a 10min walk. Lots of shops to see. Staff was friendly although they don't speak English and my Chinese isn't great 😂 lucky my partner is Chinese. All in all I would definitely recommend staying here if you visit.

Opposite to Taiyuan Railway Station (not the high-speed railway station), it is convenient to join Shanxi tour groups, and the tourist distribution center is nearby. The room is relatively large and has heating, which makes it comfortable to stay in winter. The facilities are a bit old, the bathroom shower room is small and the shower head is high, which makes it inconvenient to wash your hair. The bath water goes down slowly, the bedding is comfortable, 4 bottles of mineral water are provided every day, and the breakfast is good for 28 per person. There are also many small restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which are convenient for eating and buying things. There is eight-treasure porridge provided by the front desk every night. In general, the price is quite cost-effective at this price.
