The room was small but very clean. Dinner is not bad. Good service and smooth communication. For breakfast, we need to pack breakfast because we get up early, and the waiter also packs a caring portion and takes us out. very satisfied.

The food was outstanding, with rich and flavourful bakery items and beautifully prepared curries that made each meal memorable. Our room allocation and room service were handled with elegance and care. The spacious bathroom, generous amenities, and the breathtaking view added a special touch that we will never forget. Loss property service is admirable. I got my valuable shirt back—honest and True Values at Service by the staff. The evening dinner with our family and friends was wonderfully arranged and thoughtfully catered—an experience we deeply cherished. To Sanath, Janitha, and the entire team: thank you for making our anniversary stay both memorable and heartfelt. Ismattha Hotel Anuradhapura is easy to locate and nearby to the local sights. we checked in pretty late and was still greeted by the reception with a big smile, appreciate their kindness and quick arrangements for check in and dinner at the restaurant was simply delicious. room walls can be pretty thin though, so light sleepers should ask for a corner room, cuz can hear guests walking pass outside. hotel parking is easy and safe, one key point for self drive tourists. there's a nice pool which we didn't get to use but from the pool, one can relax an see local trains pass by, so it's pretty cool. breakfast is simple but delicious and the staff are simply like friends welcoming you into their homes.

Room facilities are average, breakfast is OK, location is OK. Without a quilt, the water heater will cool for a while. There are mosquito nets. If you are used to a good domestic hotel. Not recommended, in fact, not as good as home.

Nice home cooked food. Very friendly and helpful owner, Mr. Sampath. The property is surrounded with trees and hidden in the jungle. Very quite and fresh air.

Stop for one night in the economy room. It is clear that for such a price it is not worth expecting anything substantial, but the mattresses were straight very bad, just a piece of fine poron, which is instantly sold to the most boards and in fact lie almost on boards. But it was all expected for such a price, so in general approx. Beautiful territory with garden and tables with views on the rice field. What spoiled the impression: Breakfast! Ordered it extra because it did not go out in the cost of the housing, and I definitely don't recommend taking it in this place. This is not like a classic Lanca breakfast that is served in hotels of the same price category, and is twice as expensive as the same!

I recently stayed this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The breakfast was also a nice touch—fresh and with a good variety. However, the only downside was the Wi-Fi. It was either very slow or not working at all during most of my stay, which was a bit frustrating since I needed to do some work online. I mentioned it to the front desk, but unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved. If you don’t rely heavily on internet access during your stay, this place is a great choice. But for remote workers or those needing reliable connectivity, keep this in mind
