Guest UserThe room was spacious and very clean. The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, providing excellent service. The view was also exceptionally beautiful, and its proximity to the commercial street made everything very convenient. There's also parking available, and the facilities are comprehensive, with high-end toiletries. I stayed for two nights and will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

eggroll4lifeenjoyed this stay a lot, it was right at the grasslands where you can see the beautiful green grass against the striking blue sky. our stay was very comfortable, the host would pick us up at the train station and send us off. loved seeing their pet dog and cat everyday, they are very cute.
however because this is at least 35mins away from the city, wai mai has very limited choices and will take >1hr to reach you just FYI.

Guest UserThe best decision I made in Shangri-La was choosing this guesthouse; it single-handedly made my entire high-altitude trip enjoyable! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Dukezong Ancient Town's Moonlight Square and the Giant Prayer Wheel. It’s wonderfully quiet yet centrally located, perfect for exploring and dining out, then returning to a peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Most importantly, it came with an individual oxygen concentrator, which meant I wasn't worried about altitude sickness at all on my first high-altitude trip, and I slept incredibly soundly. The owner is super enthusiastic, offering free airport transfers both ways. The breakfast was varied, with delicious Yunnan rice noodles, and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. Any requests were handled super quickly. It offers an immersive ******* living experience while still providing modern comforts. Next time I'm in Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay here again. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Diqing!

Guest UserMy boyfriend and I rented a car to tour Panna Hai, and chose to stay at this B&B in Panna Hai for one night – it was absolutely worth it! The yard is huge, and there's a big dog to play with. The hotel provides oxygen equipment, so no worries about altitude sickness. The air on the vast grassland is super fresh, and lying in bed, the view from the floor-to-ceiling window is like a beautiful painting. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay. The hotel offers breakfast, and the room comes with bread and biscuits. The service was really great~

Guest UserA perfect stay for those seeking peace and relaxation. The hotel offers stunning mountain and meadow views, with beautiful walking paths and scenery similar to Heidou Café nearby. Guests receive a voucher for a complimentary Americano and cookies at the café (other menu items are available with a small top-up). The staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel also provides convenient shuttle service to and from the railway station. Didi rides are easy to book, and the Old Town is only about 20 minutes away.
Recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature, slow down, and experience the peaceful side of Shangri-La.

This hotel was the best stay of my trip in Sichuan / Yunnan. I cherish the countryside and i was apply to go out of the city to enjoy the slow life, the real life with nature and animals. This stay gave me everything!
The owners, 仁安 里 and Jiren, welcomed me like a was family. I was starving and they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really nice and i felt really included into their community.
The room was spacious, luminous, and confortable with a huge bed ! I really loved staying on the sofa in the morning, when the sun was blazing. The breakfast was good and generous.
My favorite day was to discover the surrounding of the hotel, walking in the village, seeing all the cute animals (cows, baby cows, dogs, cats, poneys, roosters).
The owner was so considerate to me, he drove me to Shangri-La city center because no taxis were available. Visiting the old town, i was so happy to have chosen a hotel away from this touristic place. He also picked me up and drop me off at the train station.
I would absolutely recommend and return to this hotel. I loved it very much. It gave me the opportunity to relax, discover ******* culture and amazing people, and live the slow life.
Thanks again, and Tashi Delek !

Alex CisséAn unforgettable stay ! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely immersed in the wild beauty of Shangri-La. The location is breathtaking wide open landscapes, mountains that seem to stretch forever, and a calm that's hard to find anywhere else. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully designed, with an amazing view, every detail felt intentional.
But what truly made this stay special was Suki and little fish (荔枝). They are patient, attentive, and genuinely caring the kind of hosts who make you feel completely at ease from the very first moment. Beyond being incredibly warm and welcoming, they helped me experience the region in a way I never could have on my own. I went horse riding in the mountains with them, discovered the local culture through their eyes, and had some of the most meaningful conversations of my trip sitting with them. Their advice was precious, and their kindness turned a beautiful place into a memorable one.
The amenities were excellent, the service flawless, and the whole place has a soul that's rare to find. If you're traveling and looking for somewhere that feels like an adventure and a home at the same time, this is it.
Thank you Suki and little fish for the rides, the laughs, the conversations, and for showing me a side of Yunnan I'll never forget.

ShixiaofuniyaChoosing this hotel for my trip to Shangri-La was absolutely the right decision! It's super convenient, just about a ten-minute walk to the old town. Plus, they provide an oxygen concentrator, which was a lifesaver on my first day when I was suffering from altitude sickness. They also have an oximeter and a thermometer, showing how much they care about their guests. The chicken and rice noodle soup for breakfast here is incredibly delicious – I had it for days! Every evening, they bring complimentary bedtime milk, which my family found to be a really thoughtful touch. The bedding is great too; I slept very comfortably, and the toiletries are all well-stocked. If I get the chance to come back, I would definitely consider staying here again.

RudyHGreat location, walk to the ancient city and also accessible by car. Love the traditional style, interior materials like wooden+stone floor/wall. Common area is free to access by public taking pictures of the building's traditional interior/decor, which is a plus and minus at the same time I think. Afternoon tea is quite pleasing, variety and taste wise. Breakfast is quite nice. Welcome fruit initially was only 1 apple and 1 orange on the plate, seems like forgottem? Night milk was never explained and now remember there was a thermos? with milk? At this price point in ShangriLa, we would appreciate if the bathroom has smart toilet feature, and frustrated with the small giveaway bottles of body wash and shampoo, which is old style, probably older than the traditional decor? haha. Edges of floor and wall inside and outside feel a bit not completely clean especially near the door. As usual, communications in wechat is indispensable and thus services can be explained and delivered. There was 1 traditional shawl and 2 hats for free use, which gives our photography a nice improv.

Guest UserThis magnificent hotel is located in the heart of Shangri-La, a place where the journey itself is part of the magic.
As we traveled along the village paths and across the vast plains filled with yaks and horses roaming freely, the landscape was so beautiful and peaceful that we felt as if we were entering another world.
From the moment we arrived, silence, serenity, and the pure energy of nature surrounded us. The hotel manager greeted us with a warm smile, checked us in, and offered us hot local tea and a ******* cake. He then led us to the warm and beautiful room we had reserved.
Everything was truly perfect: the hotel's atmosphere, the beauty of the location, and the kindness and sincerity of the entire team. When it was time to leave, we truly felt as if we were leaving a piece of our hearts there.
Without a doubt, we will return to this place, and this time we will stay longer.
A huge thank you to Mr. Wang, their adorable dogs, and their amazing team for this unforgettable experience.
