Guest UserBeautiful hotel and excellent location (I had a view of the main square and parliament building). The staff was very helpful, professional and friendly. Food in the restaurant was superb with selected dishes from the local cuisine. The Spa design has taken inspiration from Icelandic nature in both colours, materials and textures, and is a fantastic addition to the experience with thermal pool, steam room, sauna, cold mist/rain and cosy relaxation areas.
Would highly recommend choosing this hotel when visiting Reykjavik, or using it as a base when exploring further around.

Guest UserThis apartment-style hotel is really great. Remember to book in advance, you can save a lot! You can cook here, and all the kitchenware and laundry facilities are available. There's a microwave, perfect for heating up some instant meals!
There are two beds, and the bathroom is also very spacious. Check-in is conveniently located right across from the apartment building. You can ask the front desk for some disposable toothbrushes, which is a nice touch. They also store luggage for free.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!!

The photos are really misleading; it looks completely different from the actual place. We booked an 'Exquisite Suite,' which turned out to be just one room with a living room, where an extra bed had been added. With the extra bed in the living room, the kitchen became practically unusable due to heavy smoke, shattering our dream of cooking our own meals.
The room itself was quite small, and with the extra bed in the living room, there was barely any space to walk. It was on the top floor, with a very low attic ceiling and a small window.
Soundproofing was poor; we could hear conversations from outside. The balcony door was broken and couldn't be opened, and the view was just average.
Be careful with the main entrance; the automatic door opener is prone to catching hands!
Check-in was in a different building. If you receive the address of the building you'll be staying in, you can have the taxi driver drop you off directly there, saving you the hassle of dragging your luggage around.
To open the ground floor door, you need to pull it when you hear the mechanism (the 'push' sign on the door is incorrect).
Cleanliness: Acceptable, cleaned daily.
Location: Indeed excellent, right near the city center with many pick-up points for group tours.
For 2500-3000 a night, I expected more space. Quite disappointed.
(I was out early and back late every day, so I forgot to take photos).

The hotel sits on a street corner, with easy access to the city centre and a nice view of the harbour. Clean and warm, with enjoyable breakfast. The sauna and relaxation areas are not huge, but offer a nice opportunity to unwind after a long day out in the cold weather. The staff are friendly and happy to help with eating suggestions and deals available. I would definitely go back in the future.

I stayed at two hotels in Lei City, and this one had a great location, excellent room facilities, and a fantastic breakfast. They also have beautiful public areas, and all the staff were very friendly. The restaurant staff, in particular, were professional and welcoming, clearing plates promptly. The breakfast quality was high. The only downside was that the curtains didn't fully block out the light.

LivoryHad the great pleasure of coming here again at the end of my Iceland trip. The junior suite offered was amazing and well worth for space though the basic room was great too. Again staff were kind and welcoming, remembering that I stayed at the hotel a week ago.

My stay at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica was, overall, very satisfying. The hotel itself is spacious and comfortable, with a clean and modern design that perfectly captures the fresh Scandinavian aesthetic, while also offering the refinement and convenience expected of a high-quality accommodation. The front desk staff were excellent; check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth, making them feel both professional and attentive. My room was spotless and quite spacious, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The attention to cleanliness details made me feel very secure and at ease. The hotel breakfast is also commendable, with a wide variety of fresh options that perfectly met my dining needs during the trip. While not in the absolute city center, the location is still convenient for getting around, and the quiet surroundings are ideal for a good rest. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, providing a consistent and reliable stay. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, you'll experience excellent service and quality here. All in all, this hotel offers a great combination of comfort, service, and brand assurance. My entire stay was pleasant and effortless, making it a highly recommended and quality accommodation option when visiting Reykjavik.

corinettThe hotel is right in the heart of the commercial district, with a Xiaozhu Supermarket nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. It's close to various bus stops and even within walking distance of the main bus terminal.
The lobby offers water and soda, and the rooms are quite spacious. There's even a barbershop on the first floor.

I checked in at 2 a.m. at night. I'd mentioned it in an email, but that wasn't necessary because the front desk is open 24 hours. I was checked in very quickly. The room was spacious, but even if it's a four-star, it doesn't feel up to European standards. The room was actually quite good. Large, well-designed, and had a comfortable mattress. I saw someone else's hair on a throw pillow, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall, it was fine. Would I choose this hotel next time? If I had other options I've stayed in in Reykjavik, I'd choose them. But only because the rooms in this hotel actually look older.
