"Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Location is superb just 2-3mins walk to the main train station hakata station where you can easily accessible to around in Fukuoka.
Room is quite small consider most hotel rooms in Japan are small. We had breakfast at the hotel nice ambience but choice of varieties so so. You can consider your breakfast by going to the train station to eat as you can find many shops around in the station and shopping around for food, clothing, skincare and souvenirs are so convenient."

Me and my friend enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel gives luxury vibes with not expensive prices, the staff is very friendly, polite and helpful.
We arrived 3 hours earlier and could get a room with laying for those 3 hours which wasn’t expensive but was very convenient after tiring flight.
We took lunch right away and it was a well served restaurant with the waitresses kindly describing every dish to us in English. The buffet breakfast we took next morning was rich in options and very delicious, too, so I highly recommend book a room with breakfast.
The room we booked was incredibly spacious, not only for Japanese hotel room size standards, but generally big, beautiful, clean. The view from the window was fantastic. The bathroom was also big, with separate toilet room and big bathtub. There even was makeup cleansing oil and bathtub salt.
Every day when we returned back to hotel the bathroom smelled incredibly nice after cleaning.
Location is just perfect, subway stop is in like 1 min walk and convenient to go in any direction. 24/7 shops nearby, as well as many food choices in daytime and at night, bars and shisha places.
Walking distance to shrines and malls.
Overall we had the best experience at this hotel and I highly recommend it to everyone!
When I come back to Fukuoka again (which is a highly enjoyable city for rest) I’m definitely staying at this hotel again."

"As a solo traveler, I was looking for a slightly cheaper option and didn't mind a smaller room, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The hotel's location is just as convenient as those near Hakata Station. The Nanakuma subway line is right at its doorstep, and it's also a straightforward 10-minute walk along the main road to Hakata Station. Canal City is right next door, Kushida Shrine is just behind, and there's a 24-hour drugstore and a large supermarket right by the hotel, making shopping incredibly convenient. Housekeeping isn't daily; it's every other day. If you need your room cleaned, you can place a request tag on your door. However, even when the room isn't cleaned, fresh towels are provided outside your door."

"The hotel is super close to the Airport Line. Just exit the subway, walk to the intersection, turn right, look up, and you'll see the 'HOTEL' sign – that's the one! It's a stylish and charming place. Around 4:30 PM, the lobby was quite busy with guests, but check-in was quick and seamless.
Due to a change in plans, I extended my stay for another night. However, I still had to go through the check-in process again, and my request to keep the same room made communication a bit challenging. The hotel staff seemed to be exclusively Japanese speakers, so I was really grateful for an elderly gentleman who spoke Japanese and helped facilitate the conversation with the front desk. (Turns out, the front desk actually had a very useful translation device!)
The double room wasn't huge but was perfectly adequate. The sofa by the window was more comfortable for one person, so when I returned late and craved a snack, I had to carefully eat it while perched on the edge of the bed.
I stayed for 4 nights and had planned to try the hot spring bath on the 13th floor on my last evening. To my dismay, it was still quite crowded around 10 PM.
Upon departure, I received a birthday card and a small gift – such a warm and lovely gesture! 😘
This will definitely be my top choice for a hotel when I visit Fukuoka again."

"This is officially my favorite hotel ever! I finally got to redeem a voucher I'd been saving from a previous promotion, and it was also my first time staying at a luxury hotel in Japan. Being right next to Parco was incredibly convenient for serious shoppers like me. What's more, Tenjin Station is right downstairs, making subway travel incredibly easy. The room was unbelievably spacious, and the breathtaking window view was a huge bonus. I was pleasantly surprised by the three-fixture bathroom layout, and three sinks in the vanity area – amazing! They also offer a scenic afternoon tea starting at 2 PM; the treats were delicious and clearly not an afterthought. My only minor critiques are that the service was fairly standard, and the minibar was empty. However, these small issues don't overshadow the fantastic experience, and it's definitely a hotel to snag if you find a good price!"

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The nearby subway station offers direct access to Hakata Station and Kushida Shrine Mae Station. One evening, after a wonderful dinner at Daitouen, we enjoyed a leisurely walk back to the hotel, passing by Kushida Shrine, the Nakasu Yatai food stalls, and Canal City Hakata along the way.
There are several convenience stores and drugstores close to the hotel. Additionally, popular spots like Full Full Bakery and Fuk Coffee are just diagonally opposite the hotel.
We booked a Japanese-style room with a tatami area this time, which comfortably accommodated three of us without any issues.
Regarding housekeeping: a full cleaning service is provided on the 3rd, 6th, and 9th days of your stay. On other days, it's a light tidying-up, which includes replenishing water bottles and changing slippers. If you'd like a full cleaning on a non-scheduled day, simply inform the front desk before 10 AM.
All the hotel staff we encountered were very friendly and provided excellent service. Although the official check-in time is 3 PM, we were able to check in at 2:30 PM as our room was already prepared, which was a kind gesture.
The hotel also features a communal hot spring bath (onsen), and complimentary coffee and tea are available in the lobby. We were very satisfied with our stay overall!"

"The room wasn't overly spacious; while the twin beds could be pushed together, we could barely open our 28-inch suitcase by the wall due to limited space.
Location-wise, it's fantastic for subway users, with the station entrance right outside the hotel. However, for those focused on shopping, it's somewhat inconveniently situated between Hakata and Tenjin, meaning it's not truly close to either major shopping district.
That said, breakfast was absolutely delicious! The cute little bowls used for serving food were a charming touch, and it certainly put me in a great mood to start the day.
There's a free rooftop onsen (hot spring bath) available, but remember to bring your own swimwear.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel for first-time visitors to Fukuoka. For a maiden trip, most people would prefer to be closer to Hakata for its dining, sightseeing, and easy access to day trips, or near Tenjin for serious retail therapy. This spot is much better suited for returning visitors."

"My experience from check-in to check-out was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 7-8 minute walk from the JR station. The walk there is pleasant, with coffee shops, bakeries, and a FamilyMart along the way. It truly is a peaceful oasis despite its central location. There's a small public space right outside the entrance, and two more coffee shops/bakeries just downstairs.
The mattress was very comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too flat, offering no bounce or support.
Getting here from Fukuoka Airport was quick, about a 10-minute taxi ride.
Complimentary facial cleanser and lotion samples were available for self-service at the front desk.
I had informed them in advance via email that it was my birthday on the check-in day, and the front desk staff were wonderful and upgraded my room. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation.
Overall, a fantastic hotel!"

JJujuliabeiI really loved this hotel! We were given a top-floor room with a fantastic view, complete with a spacious sofa bed and a clean, comfortable bathroom. The hot springs were a real highlight. The indoor hot spring area featured a unique 'starry sky rainforest' installation that periodically simulated rainfall, surrounded by lush moss and plants, making it very picturesque. Breakfast was also excellent; it was structured like a set menu with several options to choose from, complemented by a buffet, and we took our time thoroughly enjoying the meal. The only minor issue was their strict adherence to the 3 PM check-in rule, which resulted in long queues at the front desk, and even some foreign guests were visibly impatient. However, the hotel's other aspects more than made up for this minor inconvenience. Its transportation links are very convenient, and the overall location is excellent.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel for the first 2 nights and last night of the trip. The room for first 2 nights was fine, hygiene is ok. But then for the last night, the room was full of the smell of cigarettes, but it is a non-smoking room. I did not report the situation to front desk as I was just staying for 1 last night of the trip, so don’t wanna bother to change room. Except the above, everything was great, the staffs were very friendly and responsive, also able to communicate in English. Location is amazing, no matter food or shopping, everything is just downstairs.

Even the meeting point for the day tour I booked was conveniently located nearby. The staff were very friendly, and the room was a decent size, with enough space to fully open a large suitcase.

GGuest UserI highly recommend staying in Hotel Marinoa Resort with all the sea views and spacious rooms. The staff there will escort you to the room. You may see the sunrise on the balcony and enjoy breakfast there. The room is very clean and with modern design.

GGuest UserWith a limited supply of triple-bed rooms in town, this hotel became our go-to choice for a total of six nights, including two room transfers due to our booking arrangements. It turned out to be a wise decision.
To highlight some experiences: first, the room transfers went smoothly. We needed to switch rooms twice due to our itinerary. We simply left our luggage with the front desk at checkout, and when we returned, our belongings were already in our new room. Secondly, one day I accidentally dropped my room key at a nearby shop. While I was searching through my bag for it, a staff member at the front desk approached me and asked if I was looking for a key. After verifying my room information, she informed me that the shop had called the hotel to return the key. Otherwise, I would have had to pay 100 yen for the lost card, which would have felt quite careless.
One downside was the welcome drink—honestly, it wasn’t worth the time. Overall, though, the staff’s friendliness made a positive impression.

CChwaiThe staff at this hotel were polite and very helpful throughout my stay, which made me feel welcome. The breakfast buffet selection was quite limited, but the food tasted good and was of nice quality.
I also appreciated that the lobby had sufficient seating, making it a comfortable place to rest or wait. One small suggestion for improvement would be to provide an extra pillow in the single rooms, which would add to the overall comfort.
However, the safe in my room was not functioning during my stay, which was a little inconvenient.

HHoshMy first time to Fukuoka so I didn’t really know which area I should book so I ended booking in the Nakasu, Hakata. The original Ichiran store is a 2min walk, and the Canal City shopping complex is about 10mins walk and there is also a Don Quijote around the corner. But that is about all there is in the area. If anything, Nakasu becomes like a big adult entertainment area in the evening (eg a lot of girls clubs).
There is also the yatai (or Fukuoka nightly food stalls) within walking distance. However, I notice that it is mainly Japanese patrons occupying these yatai, so it was a somewhat difficult for someone who couldn’t speak Japanese. The hotel is also about a 10min walk to the Tenjin shopping area which is more lively.
Possibly because of a construction happening a couple of buildings away, I found that the room was quite dusty. As a sufferer of seasonal allergies, the extra dust wrecked havoc on my sinus. To be fair, the hotel did mention that there was construction near its hotel and that this could lead to extra noise or dust.
The room itself was definitely big enough, but the bathroom was somewhat outdated.

VVivtsoGood value for money and great location. The nicest thing about the hotel is the natual onsen and all the complimentary items for their guests like ramen at night, morning coffee/juice/tea, ice-cream, yakult drinks. We used the onsen every night after a long day out. The hotel is right next to the subway station.
The room is not big. No room cleaning without a charge. But clean towels are hang outside the door everyday.

GGuest UserExcellent location, very close to Tenjin subway station, making it easy to walk to Parco and the underground shopping mall. The room was a decent size, with enough space to fully open a 26-inch suitcase. However, the shower caddy in the bathtub was poorly designed; it kept sliding off and could easily hit your foot!

WWosuoannitaAbsolutely thrilled with this hotel! It was incredibly clean and spacious. The front desk even provided essential amenities. It's conveniently located just a few steps from Yakuin subway station. There are 7-Eleven, Lawson, and other convenience stores right outside the entrance, and McDonald's is also very close by.
