4-Star Hotels in Hammamet

My experience at the TUI BLUE Palm Beach Hammamet was generally good. The quality of the food was excellent and diverse, whether it was in breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything was fresh and well advanced. Also, the staff was very professional, cooperative and nice to deal with, and the service was high. But I would like to alert a special point for travelers from North Africa: there is a kind of ambiguity in the concept of “inclusive stay” at booking via Trip.com. It is generally displayed without accurate details, especially with regard to drinks (whether alcohol is included or not). After arriving, it turned out that the hotel operates different systems of comprehensive accommodation (such as universal, non-alcoholic, and every different wall system, which was not clear during the booking. So I advise everyone to check out the details of the baggage accurately before booking or communicating with the hotel directly to avoid any dress. In general, the hotel is worth visiting in terms of quality and service, but it recommends that the details of the pre-comprehensive stay be verified.

It is built in the same complete block as a playground, commercial street and many restaurants, forming a tourist complex. The hotel's accommodation part is divided into three major pieces, one is a corridor-style multi-storey connected to the lobby and restaurant. The room should be a standard hotel twin room and a double bed room; the other part of the entrance has a special person to guard it. We originally set the first category, and there was no explanation. We sent it directly to the third category: imitating the local residential settlement, going to the winding alley, opening the door like returning to our own home, and then came to a two-bedroom, two-living room, two bathrooms and an inner courtyard suite, a total of three beds. This is too cost-effective! We are the mother and daughter, ”have to” live in a room for one person hahaha. However, the room decoration is half, especially the two toilets are very close to the side wall, which is very unreasonable. Photo one is the alley in this area. Figure 2 is from the lobby to the courtyard of the accommodation area. The circle above is also a suite. There is a restaurant in the sinking courtyard, but it is not open because it is off-season. There are four trees in the courtyard, the crown is not big, and hundreds of ostriches will fly in every evening, and the ground is very lively. The cost includes two buffets a day, which is quite rich. At least I didn't get tired of eating for three days. North African meals have a lot of cooking, fried, and fried dumplings, which have many similarities with Chinese food. The shape of the dessert is exactly the same as the northern Chinese snack, but the taste is...sweet to the end.

According to Tunisia’s location, architecture, and friendliness, the room is one of the best hotels I have ever visited. In the restaurant, the staff is the most helpful, and the dishes are varied, especially the ”Lemlaoui” dishes made by ladies. On the other hand, the windows of the rooms are very windy due to the lack of seams.

Disappointing for this price and for a 4 stars hotel. Room was barely acceptable, clearly not cleaned below the beds, no glasses, no towels, soap and shampoo containers almost if not empty upon arrival and were not filled at all during our stay. Towels were a nightmare to get: sometimes just enough, sometimes missing one, sometimes missing two. Getting an iron was a battle and forget about laundry service. Requests were not always met with a nice answer, they painted a room next to ours taking no precautions, getting the smell far into ours. Lunch was excruciatingly expensive for the area, forget about it. Included breakfast and dinner were OK. Location was very nice, although the surroundings are a bit dead..

Perhaps due to the off-season, the hotel is very cost-effective, including three meals. The quality of the meals far exceeded expectations. The facilities are a bit old, and although the staff is not enthusiastic, they are very efficient.

Nous nous sommes présentés, le soir, à la réception de l'hôtel afin de prolonger notre réservation pour une journée de plus, avec une possibilité de changer de chambre, à cause des gouttes d'eau qui continuent de tomber du plafond, et une autre fuite d'eau au niveau de la douchette WC ! Le prix pour une nuitée que la réceptionniste nous a annoncé était largement important que celui proposé par tous les sites de réservation !!!! Nous avons choisi, à la fin, de valider une réservation sur Trip.com qui nous a proposé le meilleur prix. Le matin, lorsque nous nous sommes présentés à la réception pour la prolongation de notre séjour, un réceptionniste nous a réclamé le paiement de la taxe de séjour. Mais comme, j'ai lu sur un affichage de l'hôtel que le montant de cette taxe est réduit à 3 DT lorsqu'on est maghrébin (au lieu de 12 DT demandés aux non maghrébins), j'ai directement demandé pourquoi on m'a fait payer 12 DT/nuit pour les deux nuitées que nous avons passées à l'hôtel ?!! Les deux réceptionnistes du matin m'ont demandé si j'avais présenté mon passeport (effectivement je l'ai fait et j'ai même mentionné ça sur la fiche que j'ai remplie lors de mon arrivée !). Ils m'ont dit qu'ils vont regarder ce qui s'est passé et qu'ils vont revenir vers moi. Mais aucune suite !!!! Et pourtant nous les avons croisés plusieurs fois !!! Même pas un ” Au revoir ” lors de la remise des clés !!!!!!! Un agent est enfin venu après le dîner pour régler les problèmes de fuites d'eau que nous avons déjà déclarés. Du coup, nous sommes restés dans la même chambre. Le service de ménage est quotidien, et comme la chambre est restée propre, nous n'avons demandé que le changement de serviettes pendant tout le séjour. Possibilité de récupérer des serviettes pour la piscine et la plage avec une caution de 20 DT /Personne à récupérer une fois la serviette est rendue. Ce n'est pas un hôtel pied dans l'eau. Ce qui est un désavantage pour l'hôtel. La plage qu'ils appellent privée est éloignée de l'hôtel. Personnellement je ne la trouve pas pratique pour quelqu'un qui cherche un accès direct à la plage. Sachant que pendant un repas, un client (formule tout compris) a le droit à une bouteille d'eau, deux verres de vin et deux verres de Soda. C'est ce qu'on nous a expliqué à la réception lorsque nous sommes arrivés, Personnellement, j'ai toujours demandé gentiment mon deuxième verre de soda durant les repas (c'est le quota fixé par la réception et je ne prends jamais de vin donc !!!!) Dans ce sens, au niveau du restaurant, durant les repas du troisième jour de notre séjour, un changement qui saute aux yeux est constaté dans la façon dont les boissons sont servies !!!!!! Les Sodas ne sont plus servis dans les mêmes verres (à eau) qui étaient utilisés durant nos deux premiers jours !!! Les verres pour soda ont été changés !!!! Ils sont largement petits !! et la meilleure, ils rajoutent des glaçons contrairement à avant (LOL) !!!!! Voir les contenances, en photos, après avoir versé le soda du nouveau verre dans l'ancien verre et aussi la quantité de glaçons !!! Ce n'est pas comme ça que vous allez réduire la facture Monsieur le Gérant de la restauration !!!!!! Pour un hôtel rentable et surtout durable, il faut plutôt bien former et impliquer les serveurs, informer les clients et insister afin de réduire, au mieux, le gaspillage ou de l'éliminer complètement...Avec un bon Smile bien sûr (c'est ce qui manquait surtout dans votre service !!!). Nous reviendrons, peut-être, une autre fois ! , mais ça serait surtout pour le côté Adults Only de l'hôtel ainsi que la propreté des chambres (Bravooo aux femmes de chambres qui mettent en avant votre enseigne...).

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stay! I had a lovely time at Golden Tulip Hammamet President. The receptionists Fathia and Wiem were very kind and professional. Mokhtar was also very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Excellent service from the whole team!

Good place
