GGuest UserI had an amazing stay at My Son Boutique Hotel & Spa. The location was perfect — about a five-minute walk to everything, and it was always easy to get Grab rides or food delivered.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. The owner surprised me with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Everyone was kind, smiling, and genuinely attentive. The receptionists were especially sweet and caring. Even though I’m not a morning person, I actually woke up early for their free breakfast — and every dish was delicious. The staff at the restaurant was super sweet and attentive too.
If there’s one area that could use improvement, it would be the floor cleaning. I suspect the mop used for housekeeping might be a little old or worn out, possibly trapping dust and debris that get spread around again during mopping. After cleaning, the floor looked spotless — but once you walk around barefoot for a while, you’ll feel fine dust and bits of debris on your feet. There’s honestly no way anyone would notice this unless they stayed in the room themselves. I ended up using the small towel provided, wetting it, and wiping the floor — and each time, I still picked up quite a bit of dust. Once I did that, the floor stayed clean until the next day.
That said, I don’t blame the housekeeping staff at all — they were incredibly polite and considerate. They always checked whether I was in the room before cleaning and waited for my reply, and they never forgot to replace the two bottled waters daily (which I really appreciated!).
The bathroom floor could be a bit slippery at times, maybe because the cleaning liquid wasn’t fully rinsed off — not a big issue, just something to refine.
Overall, it was a lovely, peaceful stay — slightly outside the busy town (exactly why I chose them), so you get quiet nights with no traffic noise. Despite the windy, rainy weather during my trip, my time there was perfect. I’d absolutely stay here again — such a warm and caring place.
P/S I actually bought a cake for them, the day before I checkout, but I left it somewhere in Hoi An lol (sorry).

HHenry_the_KingTo be honest, some highs and lows here. The service here is more like a 3-star hotel, definitely not a 4-star. I remembered the first two days I was presented with this nice buffet with good food choices , then for another 3 or 4 days, the buffet stopped running and they switched to this really underwhelming a la carte menu that looked more befitting into a 2-star backpacker or student hostel. Then I found out the buffet was only set up because of a number of Chinese guests staying there. When they left, the buffet went (obviously me and the other 15 guests who were staying there, didn't deserve it??) The last two days they set it up again, and surprise, a large number of Russian guests had just checked in. So it turns that only if you are Chinese or Russian you get the attentions here? I know what I paid wasn't cheap, smacks of discrimination. Then on those days the service turned sloppy, I came early for breakfast, I think this is the first place I have been, where they penalise you if you come to eat early. 30 mins after opening and some trays were cold, I had to use the toaster to heat it up. The housekeeping was a bit strange here. They didn't replace the bed sheets, they simply tucked them in (I know this anecdotically, for a fact) One of the coffee cups replaced was soiled and stained, and in one occasion, they had removed one of the bar items without telling me (paving the way to maybe ask me to pay for it later without me taking it, this is not a good practice)
The coffee bar was very hit and miss. Some of the pastry pieces on display were some of the most ghastly I've ever seen, they looked raw, I had to ask them if they had been baked, they said yes (they were unglazed) On the second day, they served me this wishy washy mish mash of crushed ice with some mango on top, didn't taste of anything, they wanted 40000 d for that, how is that even on the menu? After that, I didn't set foot in there again.
The hotel was not even at 20% capacity, and they had the brilliant idea of putting people directly next to me and above upstairs..really? The pikey backpackers would be thumping on the floor a lot of the time, very poor isolation.
Upon leaving, I had this Be taxi driver (white car, 125.xx plate) He parked across the road, I was carrying my suitcases, I told him to turn around. He got in his taxi, drove off, and left me STRANDED, this was a booking to the airport, what kind of subhuman does that??? My experience with the Vietnamese is not great, but the staff here were kind and helpful, and assisted me greatly. Location not really great, a bit far from everything, but the place was very clean. So there are some positives, but this is in no way a 4 star for me, especially when subject to profiling and priviledges are removed, depending on where you come from, and what colour your skin is.

We recently stayed at this lovely eco hotel as a family of four (with two big boys, 12 and 18) and had a wonderful experience.
Location: Perfect. It's calm, quiet, and set back from the noise, yet only a 10-minute taxi ride to the bustling Hoi An Ancient Town. The best of both worlds.
Room: Spacious, very clean, and had all the basics we needed. The two beds were ample even for our growing teenagers. We visited in winter, so the weather was mild and the AC was perfectly sufficient. A note for summer travelers: the room has AC, but you might appreciate using the provided fan as well for extra comfort.
Hotel & Amenities: The hotel is small and beautifully designed, with a real focus on peaceful, eco-friendly living. A real bonus was the swimming pool—a great spot to relax. They also offer free bikes, which is a fantastic way to explore the nearby area.
Breakfast: Don't expect a huge international buffet, and that's a good thing! The breakfast focuses on quality, local ingredients: fresh tropical fruits, vegetables, delicious hot local noodles, and outstanding fresh Vietnamese coffee every morning. It was a tasty and authentic start to each day.
Staff: Exceptionally helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make recommendations, including a motorbike tour that our kids absolutely loved. It was a highlight of our trip.
Overall: We would not hesitate to stay here again. It provided the serene, comfortable base we needed, with easy access to the town and thoughtful amenities. We would love to come back on our next visit to Hoi An.
Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone seeking a tranquil, eco-conscious stay close to the action.

MMr Chick ChickOur stay at Little Residence was simply wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a more luxurious room in celebration of our honeymoon, which made our experience even more special.
The staff were exceptionally attentive and always eager to assist with anything we needed. Their kindness and genuine care made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.
Breakfast was excellent — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. The entire atmosphere of the hotel is warm, peaceful, and refined.
Overall, this place offers far more value than its price. We had an unforgettable experience and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An.

JJASMINE HHHNice hotel with strategic location. The beach is just across the road, nearby has a lot of shops and restaurants. The hotel has its own pool, kid club, spa and restaurant. The price is reasonable and with nice ambience, breakfast has variety of choices and good of food. The highlight for us was the exceptional level of customer service. All the staff were polite, understanding and tried to help us and supply us additional bottles of water when requested. The free tea break was great and awesome service by Hotel. The restaurant waitresses are friendly and helpful.

GGerrit BuurmanGreat boutique hotel, good breakfast buffet, reasonable beer prices, beautiful pool. But the minus is, that the pool attract loads of noisy children from Southkorea and Vietnam. A lot of them don t even follow the rules and are in the pool from 6am. Had a few minor issues but they were solved immediately by the superfriendly hotel staff. Been here a few times before and will return, if the price is right and no school holidays. Also great rooms.

AAnna KintamaniI stayed in this hotel in Superior Room with garden view on 3rd floor and I really enjoyed! It's very nice view, comfortable room with big bead and amazing bath tub, normally working hot water and very friendly staff. I recommend to choose the room with garden view, because ik the other side if the hotel there is big road that makes a lot of sound, but on the garden view side it's normal. So I can recommend this place with garden view, and it's also available to take bicycle for ride around the city in daytime for free

처음 방에 들어선순간 지하실에서 나는 쿵쿵한 곰팡이냄세가 진동했다. 건물전체에서 이런 냄새가 나는데 구조적 문제같다. 벽사진을 보면 왜그런지 짐작할수있다. 이호텔의 유일한 단점은 바로 이것이다. 다른점은 시내에서 멀다는것인데 오토바이를 렌트하면 해결된다. 시내에서 대략 10분거리.
