MM408786****The bed in the room was really soft, but I felt like the bathtub wasn't working perfectly. I'd suggest adding disposable bathtub liners. The bathroom in the room was a bit smaller than I expected. Overall, it was decent and I slept quite comfortably.
Since there weren't many people when I visited, the downstairs facilities were very peaceful and pleasant. It's a good place to spend more time at the hotel.
The children's playground was quite small – 'small but perfectly formed,' as they say – but the facilities were very basic and rather simple.
For this price, I expected a better experience.

CcookiejiThe room was great, directly facing the hotel pool with a fantastic view of the golf course. But the real highlight was the incredible array of family activities! It was perfect for a parent like me with two little ones. I could happily send the kids off to the Squirrel Club – it's amazing and offers flexible options to suit your budget. Hotel guests get to participate in a wide variety of activities all day long for free. If you want some grown-up time, you can even opt for one-on-one childcare, ensuring the kids have a blast while the adults get some much-needed rest. A special shout-out to all the teachers at the Squirrel Club: Teacher Grape was so patient, and there's also Ocean, Candy, Lovely Teacher, and a male teacher whose name I don't know but who was incredibly patient. During the bonfire party, despite the dim lighting, he was still diligently reading picture books to the kids – so dedicated! He also did all sorts of funny things to make the children laugh. The emotional value was off the charts! Four and a half out of these five stars are definitely for the Squirrel Club!
Volcano Hot Spring Valley (2 adults, 2 children under 1.3m): There were so many pools, and the kids had an absolute blast, burning off all their energy during the day and falling asleep early at night.

CCurlygirl_travelsI had a lovely stay even though it was one night, wish I had actually booked a few nights but had just booked it because it was near the airport and would be convenient. The porter was helpful and front desk checked me in in good time and let me know all the necessary things and places I can go to enjoy the stay. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the room and it was very comfortable. The view was great and a surprise is at that it actually shares common facilities with ritz Carlton which is next door. You can enjoy the gardens, golfing area, pool and spa. Breakfast was good and the staff efficient in cleaning up.
Across the hotel is the teddy bear museum and outlet stores. Thank you for the wonderful stay, I will definitely come again ✨

GGuest UserHaikou Junhao Hotel is truly a hidden gem in Haikou's Guomao district. This was my first stay, and the experience was superb! The hotel is located right in the heart of the CBD, with the Guomao commercial area just downstairs. You can easily walk to Friendship Sunshine City and Shangbang Bailihui City for shopping and dining. It's also very convenient to get to Qilou Old Street and Cloud Cave Library. Plus, they offer free parking, which is a huge bonus if you're driving. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the smart Xiao Du control system was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options, including local specialties like Hainan noodles and Qingbuliang. The hotel even has robot delivery for room service, though you need to contact the front desk to arrange it. When it's busy, there might be a queue, so if you're in a hurry, it's quicker to pick it up yourself. They also have a gym and a free laundry room, showing great attention to detail. It's perfect for both leisure and business travel. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Haikou.

I checked in quite late, and was delighted to find the room decorated for Christmas and Xenia had even prepared some Christmas sweets – what a lovely touch! The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep that was super stress-relieving. Xenia's service was warm and attentive; both check-in and check-out were efficient and convenient, and any requests I had were handled promptly. The value for money is absolutely outstanding. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose this place first next time I visit. Five stars, no doubt!

HHans JakobWe had a fantastic time during our honeymoon trip at this place. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. They decorated our room and provided us with plenty of fruits and coconut water!
The breakfast was well-catered, offering a wide variety of options to choose from.
The property features two swimming pools; however, one was being cleaned during our stay, which showed their commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
The gym exceeded our expectations for a hotel gym. It had a good selection of workout machines and ample space for a solid workout.

Location wasn’t the best as it’s quite far from the city so had to take 30-45mins ride everyday just to get to the city, and then back.
Hotel is pretty old as it was built for a long time, and you do have to cross something like an express way to get the the beach which is not very convenient too.
Overall pretty nice as I got it at a good deal.

It's truly the perfect choice for parents who want to relax while their kids have a blast. Our stay with the kids at the Haikou Marriott Hotel was fantastic, completely exceeding our expectations! The hotel is steeped in beautiful Chinese aesthetics, with vermilion pillars complementing green-tiled eaves, and a charming, well-designed Chinese garden. Inside the guest rooms, Chinese furniture blends seamlessly with Oriental design, making you feel as though you're strolling through an elegant Jiangnan courtyard – the atmosphere is absolutely immersive. Our butler, Tina, was incredibly responsible throughout our stay. From guiding us through check-in and booking kids' activities to answering our inquiries, she was patient, meticulous, and always ready to help – truly thoughtful service. The parent-child activities are abundant; the indoor kids' club and the children's pool with a slide are great fun, and there are also craft sessions and bubble shows. Our kids didn't want to leave! The breakfast buffet is also super generous, featuring Chinese pastries, Hainanese specialty Hou'an rice noodle soup, Western dishes, and fresh fruits. The ingredients are fresh, and the taste is excellent, satisfying both adults and children. It's definitely a top choice for family travel!
