AAnonymous UserThe location is superb, right on West Lake, offering incredible convenience for visiting attractions. The hotel features extensive, beautifully landscaped gardens. There's also a small historic building on the premises, the former residence where Chairman Mao drafted the constitution, which is certainly worth a look.
While our room was a little on the small and older side, it perfectly fit the nostalgic vibe we were looking for and didn't detract from our experience. The room came with lovely touches like orchids and fresh fruit on the desk. The small courtyard outside had kumquat trees, and we even had two butterflies fly into our room! Our child was delighted to discover a bird's nest in a tree in the courtyard.
There are two breakfast options, both offering excellent quality. The breakfast area at Xin Xin Hotel, in particular, is incredibly picturesque and great for photos.
The service staff and security guards were all very friendly, welcoming, well-trained, and quick to respond to any needs.
Overall, we were very satisfied. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing, offering outstanding value for money.

GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024. We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting. We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in. I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops. Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us. Not a soul was in sight. Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed. From there on, however, things only got better and better. So, yes, this was a quiet property. There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about. But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected. And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient. During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out. The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand. Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance. The layout was a bit of a labyrinth. There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display. Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake. The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards. Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?). They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night. There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater. Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds. Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace. Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel. Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular. We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip). We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable. In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area. In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort. We were very comfortable during our short stay. We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff. We would love to return. It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions. Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

WWulongaihechaMy family and I visited Xixi Wetland during the National Day holiday and stayed in Room 19 of the 'Hushu Guest House.' The 60-square-meter room was spacious and airy, perfect for three people. The decor was a charming Chinese retro style, and the garden landscape was beautiful and serene. Overall, the stay was fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
🏠 **Indoor Environment:** The room featured an entryway for shoes, a bathroom, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a private outdoor terrace. I loved being able to see the lake directly from the bed – very relaxing. A nighttime soak in the tub was wonderful, with a lovely view outside the window.
💁 **Service:** The butler and all staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. There was a dedicated shuttle service from the North Gate of the wetland. After check-in, the butler thoughtfully explained the hotel's garden design and surroundings, then guided us to our room and detailed its layout. We received complimentary welcome fruit and evening service, and the entire room smelled fragrant and fresh. We also participated in a craft class with an instructor, which was a great experience.
🍃 **Outdoor Environment:** The winding paths were secluded and picturesque. All guest room areas could be accessed via a single loop, so there was no getting lost, and along the way, we experienced various scenic views. The air was fresh, there was abundant greenery, and it was very quiet – even the elderly enjoyed it.
📪 **Minor Drawbacks:** Unfortunately, the complimentary photoshoot service we were offered fell through as the collaborating photographer bailed, so we didn't get to experience that. Also, we forgot to claim the complimentary drinks at the bar.

GGuest UserThis hotel is such a gem for travelers in Hangzhou. First, it is hidden within the woods and has a piece of the West Lake cut out specifically for it. Inside you can find a nice small lake with fish, a restaurant with the infamous vinegar fish, as well as a tearoom. The location is absolutely amazing as you can avoid all the crowds in the rest of the West Lake and just enjoy a nice cup of tea while looking at the lake. The amenities are also top-notch as they have robots to deliver your take-outs and packages, extremely friendly staff, and excellent rooms.
One word about the excellent service, when I arrived and was taken to my room, there was a strong cigarette smell. It was clear that the previous guest smoked in the room even though the hotel is smoke-free. The concierge took great lengths to help me change my room (at 1am no less) and gave me a choice of 2 rooms. One of the rooms actually directly looks into the West Lake. He was very friendly and took care of my issue immediately. A shout-out to Sun Sen!
The rooms also came with amazing fresh fruits. It was my first time eating fresh lotus seeds and I loved it. Breakfast is also served buffet style from 7 to 10am. They have chefs on the spot to make fresh noodles. The bathrooms are very clean, which is one of the most important thing for me in a hotel. There is also a vending machine with absolutely everything you can think of. From fish food to single-use underwear, to congee and fridge magnets.
The restaurant is good. Staff was attentive and the food are traditional Hangzhou cuisine. It is also one of the few places with ”edible” West Lake Vinegar Fish, which is the highest praise you can give this dish. Not only that, the cost is also very reasonable as you can order half a fish. The rest of the food are great XD.
The tearoom leaves a lot to be desired. The height of the tables and chairs make serving the teas in a gaiwan style a bit difficult. But I guess most guests get the teas brewed already by the lovely staff. There were also a ton of fresh fruits, which is exactly what I wanted.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hangzhou. Excellent all around. Thanks to the team for the great hospitality.

Everyone were so friendly and proactive in helping and making sure we had what we needed. kenneth took care of us upon arrival and immediately added my WeChat. The hotel facilities are amazing with a great indoor swimming pool and indoor playground for kids. The outdoor area is also great which will for sure comeback during the summer time to enjoy it. Location is also super nice with the lake just across the road and very easy to find places to eat around.

The hot spring is very comfortable, and there is no limit on the number of times you can enter and exit if you stay
The public rest area of the hot spring provides free drinks, snacks, ice cream, and fresh-cut fruits (tell the service desk what fruits you want and they will cut them for you). The night we went there, someone played the piano live until 8 pm
When checking in, we were upgraded to a courtyard room. It was a very beautiful courtyard, and the private hot spring in the guest room was separated into a small courtyard. It was very comfortable to lie on the sofa in the courtyard and blow the wind in this season
You can make sachets in the lobby (choose your own spices and put them in), and write wish wooden signs
There is a bonfire and lotus activity at night, which is quite interesting. If you are willing to take pictures, it is very good
The breakfast set has nine fixed side dishes. In addition, you can choose the staple food and drinks yourself, including porridge, steamed buns, wontons, noodles, dumplings, pastries, etc., which can be continued
The unsatisfactory part is that when I just checked in in the afternoon, there was a smell of wood or something else in the room, which smelled uncomfortable. Later, I turned on the fresh air and air conditioning until the evening and it was much better after taking a bath.

MM51716****Before booking this room type, I scoured all the reviews but couldn't find a single picture that truly captured how beautiful the 'Supreme Lake View' really is. Having experienced it myself, I'd like to give a heads-up to others considering this room type:
Pictures 1 and 2 show the Supreme Lake View you can get right from the bedroom and living room windows. Pictures 3 and 4 are of the Supreme Lake View directly in front of you when standing on the small patios off the bedroom and living room. Pictures 5 and 6 are of the Supreme Lake View taken from inside the room looking out the window.
Also, if you have any issues, make sure to bring them up *before* checking out. If you raise concerns after checking out, you'll only receive copy-pasted apology notices and empty promises of discounts on a future visit.
And one more thing: if you need anything, reach out to the Trip.com concierge. They genuinely go above and beyond to solve problems.
That's the heads-up. Here's my review of other aspects of the hotel:
The hotel itself is truly beautiful, and the service level is generally good. After all, it often hosts important events, so the staff are seasoned professionals. I didn't experience any 'wow' moments during my stay. The hotel offered a bunch of free activities, but half of them required me to call and book them myself, always needing to call the main line first and then be transferred. This gave me the impression that the hotel's departments operate in silos, completely disconnected from each other. Furthermore, due to the hotel's limited capacity, if you booked too late, you couldn't experience the activity. I spent an evening making three or four calls and couldn't book anything, which was frustrating even before I left the room. On the day of check-in, a staff member finally added me on WeChat, offering to help with reservations. However, it was still based on availability. To sum it up, most of the free activities were impossible to book, while the paid ones were almost always available. So, the service here is just 'okay.' The room's cleanliness was decent, though the bathtub probably wasn't thoroughly cleaned, as there was still a sticker from a previous guest's bath liner on the back.
In conclusion, if you only book a basic room type at this hotel, you'll get a great deal. The hotel's environment is exceptional and genuinely beautiful. Spending less money means lower expectations, and you won't be disappointed.

The room is quite spacious; although the decor is a bit dated, it's very clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen where you can do some simple cooking. Connie was incredibly warm and thoughtful; seeing that we had a child, she even offered us a very generous breakfast. We accidentally left our DJI camera equipment when checking out, and the hotel immediately called us, which we really appreciate.

As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I always opt for the most luxurious hotels and B&Bs, but I've truly never encountered a staff member as exceptional as Zada. Her attentiveness and thoughtfulness are unparalleled, and her service is simply outstanding. One day, when we were heading out to catch a taxi in scorching 39-degree weather, she insisted we wait indoors while she stood outside at the entrance, waiting for our car. No matter how much we urged her to come inside, she wouldn't. During meal times, she was consistently thoughtful, always anticipating and catering to all my needs. She truly is the best! By the time I left, I felt a genuine reluctance, almost as if I were saying goodbye to a dear friend. Absolutely fantastic!

EEkaterinaTwo of my friends and I stayed at the VOCO hotel over the Dragon boat's festival in May-June, 2025. All of us really enjoyed the stay. The rooms were comfortable, and even though they were not lake-view rooms, we could still see the lake from our windows.
Two of us cannot speak Chinese, and one of the managers of the hotel, whose name is Leon, took good care of us and helping us to check in and then provided a very comprehensive tour around the hotel showing all the facilities and making bookings for all kinds of activities (kayaking, hot air baloon, photoshoot) and dinners during our stay. I'd like to express my heartfelt thank you to Leon for his very kind help and assistance!
The food at the a dinner and breakfast buffets was plentiful and well cooked, as well as the traditional dishes in a Chinese restaurant. Traditionally cooked fish head is a must try! Big up to Leon for recommending it!
I can also vouch for all the activities that were provided by the hotel as part of the package with our rooms which included kayaking, a photo shoot and hot air ballooning. i'd like to express my gratification to the team that's arranges and carries out all the activities related to the photoshoot. Everything was really nicely done. We were really excited about this opportunity, and loved the photographs that we received as a result of it.
Finally, regarding the facilities, we really enjoyed the open terrace, especially at the sunset time, where we could see beautiful light and clouds over the lake. One of the best facilities is the gym that gives you a wonderful view, as well as the infinity pool, overlooking the lake. Overall, I think the hotel gives you the best value for money in this region, and is a brilliant combination of the great service, very good facilities and additional activities, provided as part of their package. I can highly recommend it!
