As a self-described ”luxury” hotel that dares to charge a price of 5,000 a night, it is very bad! I was so angry that I checked out early the next day and left! I advise hotel lovers, if you want to experience a luxury hotel, don't choose this one.
I booked three rooms (the price of a night totaled about 13,000), the electric curtains in one room were bad, the smart toilet flushing function in one room was faulty, and the mouthwash cup was damaged in many places. More outrageous, we went to the pool at 4 or 5 in the afternoon to prepare for swimming, and found that the water in the pool was dirty, there were various foreign objects, and there was a lot of moss on the ladder! And the lounge chair by the pool has no cushions, no bath towels, no water, and the chair is broken. I can't believe this is the ”luxury” hotel where the room starts at 3000! I complained to the lobby manager, and the result was that the hotel would clean up as soon as possible, and the pool could be handled the next day. I was almost happy! Then the lobby manager told me that I was very sorry, the leader specially approved to give me a dinner or a SPA 😂😂 I am missing your meal? ! I refused directly, and then called Trip.com to complain. Trip.com negotiated a 20% discount on the first night's room rate. I can say that the leadership of this hotel is not worthy of operating luxury hotels at all, and they don't even understand what the customer base of luxury hotels is, the low-level! I clearly told Trip.com that I did not accept the hotel's processing results. Trip.com communicated until 10 o'clock in the evening. In the end, the hotel did not give in. Trip.com gave me some compensation. The next day, even if I couldn't find other good hotels temporarily, I checked out and left. I really didn't want to be a big deal in this stupid hotel!
What I want to say is that instead of setting the price high, you can self-proclaim as a luxury hotel, without pursuing detailed management and services, it is just a cottage. Last May 1st, I went to Chongzuo Lishi in Guangxi. In contrast, I completely crushed this Bailian.
The stay experience was great! From the warm smile at the front desk at the check-in, to the front desk staff to take the initiative to help carry the luggage, the service details are full. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the surrounding transportation was convenient, the location was good, the service was excellent, and the facilities were new! The staff is warm and thoughtful, the room is clean and warm, the breakfast is rich, the price is super high, it is definitely recommended!

The hotel is in Mangjing Shangzhai, very close to the Queen Bee Tree. I stayed for two nights and woke up every morning listening to the birds singing. The air was very fresh when I opened the balcony door. I really liked this big balcony. There was roasted tea and Brown singing in the evening. It was good to organize activities to visit the ancient village during the day. However, the level of the hotel's guides really needs to be improved. It may be related to the cultural level and knowledge. The service is very good.

Review: Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) - A Tea Mountain Retreat
As a self-proclaimed “well-travelled” individual, I never expected Jingmai Mountain to take my breath away again—but it truly did. The journey here is a testament to Yunnan’s untouched beauty, with rolling emerald tea fields, ancient forests, and villages where ethnic tribes have lived for generations.
We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day.
For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily.
A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay.
One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters.
The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey.
For anyone looking to experience the authentic soul of Yunnan’s tea mountains, Eterna Venue Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a meaningful connection to this beautiful region.
