This hotel, built on the former site of Yida Silk Factory, is a sight to behold in itself. Tucked away in the heart of the town, it offers a serene and beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle. With the help of our lovely butler, check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth. Following video instructions, we arrived at the Wuzhen parking garage where our butler was already waiting for us, instantly easing any apprehension about visiting a new place for the first time. After entering the scenic area, we took a boat through the entirety of Wuzhen to reach the hotel, truly experiencing the unique charm of a Jiangnan water town from the water. The hotel's butler service truly lives up to its name; unlike many hotels with WeChat concierges who are often slow to respond, every request here was met with an immediate and efficient reply, which was incredibly warm and thoughtful. All in all, I highly recommend Yida as a five-star hotel in Wuzhen. It was definitely the highlight of our perfect trip to Wuzhen! My only regret is not asking for the name of our young, enthusiastic, and very helpful butler. I wish her all the best!

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of options. Some of the chefs also spoke English, which was a plus. It would be even better if the menu for dishes and drinks included English translations. The hotel's proximity to the high-speed rail station made getting around incredibly convenient.

Guest UserThe room decor is quite unique and would be very appealing to those who appreciate it. The check-in experience, environment, and cleanliness were all good. Its location within the scenic area is also very convenient. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful, and the restaurant staff also provided good service. The special lamb noodles and bamboo shoot dumplings really did justice to the local Tongxiang and Jiaxing culinary specialties.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, less than a 10-minute walk from Dongzha Scenic Area. Although not a large hotel, I found the service to be incredibly thoughtful overall. First off, the staff's attitude was wonderful, especially at the front desk (and with other hotel staff I encountered) – I truly felt at home. Secondly, the cleanliness was impeccable; both the rooms and public facilities, including the underground parking, were spotless. What also stood out was their attention to detail. They contacted us in advance to communicate and provide helpful travel tips and other important information, which made everything so easy and felt very caring. The breakfast area was pleasant, very clean, and the food tasted great with some local specialties.

CYRYThis is a beautiful and comfortable family-friendly hotel. My child came here for a competition at the internet center, and we originally planned to stay for just one day, but we loved it so much we ended up extending our stay for four more days. Before coming, I saw online comments saying Wuzhen Village wasn't worth visiting, but after experiencing it, I realized it's an excellent playground for children on a relaxed vacation. Outdoor running, indoor games – pure joy! The hotel rooms are spacious, and the biggest surprise was the in-room filtered drinking water, which is convenient and healthy. It's very easy to get to Wuzhen from here, just a ten-minute walk. Strolling along the quiet, flat asphalt road, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal all the way. If you're too tired to walk, just wait a moment at the entrance, as there are shuttle buses available from morning till night. The concierge staff were very friendly and responsible. The front desk and restaurant staff were also very enthusiastic, ready to answer any questions, and always greeted us with bright smiles. We look forward to visiting again!

LelemamaTaking my child to Wuzhen, I chose the Ziye Hotel for its value for money. Here's my honest feedback:
First, the hotel hygiene is excellent, and the room looks exactly like the pictures. The bedding is comfortable, and the shower has strong water pressure, which is very relaxing. The in-room air conditioning is powerful – definitely a thumbs up.
Second, the breakfast was not good, and I was quite disappointed. Putting aside the limited variety, the main issue was that it simply didn't taste good. I hope they can improve this.
Third, the hotel shuttle driver provided excellent service. However, the shuttle doesn't have a fixed timetable, which left us feeling quite lost. Taking the shuttle felt like opening a blind box – we never knew when it would arrive or depart. Sometimes we'd get on right away, other times we'd wait for nearly half an hour. I hope they can create a timetable for guests so everyone can plan their sightseeing and shuttle rides accordingly. Since this service is offered, they should really nail down the details.
Fourth, the staff service was excellent – another big thumbs up.
Fifth, the hotel is 1.8 kilometers from the West Scenic Zone. Unless you're young, strong, and have good legs, I'd advise against walking there. It's much better to take a car; walking back and forth isn't very practical.
Sixth, the complimentary West Scenic Zone tickets allow 24-hour access, which means you can experience the morning tea before 9 AM every day. This was definitely a great value.
This is my genuine experience, written for friends considering a trip to Wuzhen. I hope it helps everyone.

Laurent FabreOur stay at Puyuan Meishang Resort exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Although we were probably among the first foreign guests, the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had a memorable stay. Despite the language barrier, every member of staff showed incredible kindness, patience, and professionalism, always finding a way to help with a smile. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture, peaceful surroundings, immaculate rooms, and excellent facilities that make it the perfect place to relax. Every detail reflects great care and quality. We especially appreciated the warmth and dedication of the staff, who turned an already beautiful resort into an unforgettable experience. This hotel is right opposite Puyuan Ancient Town, just across the road. It was super convenient to come back to shower and change after the kids played in the water. The hotel service was excellent, and everyone was very welcoming. The room we booked also came with tickets to the ancient town, allowing unlimited entry for two days, which was fantastic! They even included vouchers we could use while exploring the town.

ShuaishuaiweigeI finally got to experience the Alila Wuzhen, which I'd been dreaming of, and the entire stay was absolutely perfect – it's my top choice for a Wuzhen getaway! The hotel itself is a beautiful waterside architectural masterpiece, with minimalist white walls blending seamlessly with the waterways, recreating a modern Jiangnan village. It feels like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The winding paths and water lanes within the property offer changing views at every turn. The lighting is soft and gentle during the day, and at night, the lights reflect beautifully on the water. Every photo you take looks stunning, and the serene ambiance is just incredible. It's wonderfully removed from the hustle and bustle of the ancient town, offering superb privacy, making it perfect for travelers seeking a peaceful retreat.
Check-in was efficient and smooth. The front desk staff were warm and polite, offering a welcome tea and patiently explaining the resort layout. Our Water House room was incredibly spacious with an open layout, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows brought the wetland scenery right into the room. The room was spotlessly clean, with a subtle and soothing aroma. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was expansive, with custom toiletries that had a sophisticated scent. The bathtub by the window allowed us to enjoy the garden view while soaking, which was a fantastic experience.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, combining local flavors with exquisite Western dishes, and the ingredients were fresh. Strolling through the resort, you can visit the infinity pool and the tea house in the middle of the water. During your leisure time, you can walk around and birdwatch, experiencing the unique tranquility of a water town. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service; they would always greet us proactively on the paths and responded promptly to all our requests.
Compared to the lively guesthouses in Xizha, this place offers a more secluded and relaxed vibe. The architectural aesthetics, hardware quality, and attentive service complement each other perfectly, making it suitable for both couples' getaways and short, tranquil retreats. This stay far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose Alila again on my next visit to Wuzhen.
