"It was the first time I stayed in the hotel and it was a wonderful stay I was in the room 402 days the only thing I wanted you to be responsible for is how much the bottom of the door was a little damaged and it didn't close easily I pointed it out to the girls who were very kind when they were cleaning and I think that they will take care of it and fix it for their next bookings otherwise everything was great in this hotel including the spa which I had treatment and the girls were very kind and of course the restaurant which I also attended for a pie cutting it had very kind people and very good food"

"Waiting ＞30 mins to get room key after checking in, waiting ＞10 mins to get a lift up to breakfast. Rude baggage staff. Very nice rooftop pool staff. No shade at the pool available (I understand they can't put umbrellas on the roof because of wind, but don't understand at level 1 pool in courtyard). Unless you are looking for an exercise in testing your patience, avoid. Check in/out queue in pic at 3pm. Worse at 10/11am"

"The hotel was renovated from an old building, and the elevator is so small that it can only accommodate one person and one suitcase, but the room facilities are very new and the bed is very comfortable. On the first day, I got a larger room at the corner of the street. Although I could see a little bit of the mountain view, the sound insulation was not good. The sound of cars and motorcycles on the street was endless, and it was noisy until ten o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very warm and friendly. The next day, I changed to a room facing the inner courtyard. It immediately calmed down and I slept well, feeling refreshed. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in the open air and enjoy the mountain view of Athens. However, there is really no choice in food, they are all sweet. There are many homeless people around the hotel and the roads are not easy to walk, but the subway station is nearby and you can easily go anywhere. It is recommended to stay for one day first, then extend if you feel it is good, or change if not, there are many hotels around."

"In general, a good hotel at a good price. The location is good, 5-10 minutes walk to the metro and the main entrance to the acropolis. And right opposite the Temple of Zeus. There are a couple of cafes nearby. The hotel lobby is gorgeous! Just like royalty. The rooms are much simpler, the bathroom is of course very old, but that's often the case. The soundproofing is poor (we woke up at night because the neighbors were flushing the water). Breakfast is simple, but that's all you need. With a gorgeous view. The pool was not working."

"The room is quite big and clean, and the waiter is very friendly. However, I have to go to Delphi for two days, and I wanted to store my luggage for two days. The front desk charged 60 Euros for luggage storage, which I didn't like. When I went to Santorini for 3 days while staying at Electra Palace, there was no charge for luggage storage. However, the location of the hotel is very good, and it is convenient to go everywhere!"

"Review for NYX Esperia Palace Athens – Luxurious Stay with a Few Caveats We stayed at NYX Esperia Palace Athens for four full days – two couples, each in an Executive Suite with access to the business lounge. The welcome was warm and efficient, and we received our rooms exactly at 3:00 PM, as per hotel policy. The suites were clean, stylish, and well-equipped with amenities such as disposable toothbrushes, shaving kits, loofahs, a hairdryer, and more. One of our suites, located on the 7th floor, even had a partial view of the Acropolis, which was a lovely bonus. The room’s climate, lighting, and curtains were all operated through digital controls, designed to pamper guests — although, in practice, they were not very intuitive and required a bit of trial and error. For instance, turning off the bedside light required getting up and walking to a control panel. The TV included Israeli channels (11, 12, and 13), which we appreciated. Breakfast on the 10th floor was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options, and the waiter service was above average. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional care provided by Ilia, the hotel's Public Relations Manager. She guided us almost from the moment we arrived until we left — recommending excellent tavernas, booking taxis, restaurants, and arranging a private guided tour. On our last day, we were also warmly greeted by Dionysia in the lounge — charming and attentive. That said, there were some drawbacks: Reception service was inconsistent – not all staff members were welcoming; some appeared cold or offered forced smiles. The business lounge was disappointing – small, crowded, with modest food and drink offerings and uninspiring seating. It felt more like a repurposed room than a proper lounge. The pools require advance reservation, with no room for spontaneity. Usage hours are segmented (e.g., 1–4 PM or 4–7 PM), and spots after 7 PM are very limited. The rooftop pool area is crowded, and the adjacent restaurant is also open to non-guests. Rooftop restaurant experience: One evening we returned from a night out and hoped to enjoy a drink with a view. Although two front-row tables overlooking the Acropolis were available, we were initially told they were reserved. Minutes later, we were informed we could sit there for a €25 minimum spend per person. The sudden shift from ”reserved” to ”available for a price” was off-putting — especially as hotel guests staying in suites. The guided tour recommended by the hotel involved nearly 4 hours of driving during a 5-hour trip, leaving us with very little time at each stop. We suggest skipping it. Bottom line: The hotel is modern, very clean, and the suites are luxurious. Service is mostly excellent, particularly thanks to Ilia and Dionysia. However, don't count on spontaneous access to the pool or rooftop restaurant — enjoying those requires planning ahead, much like booking a theater show. If you value well-designed suites and structured experiences, this hotel may be a great fit. If you’re looking for flexibility and full-day pampering from hotel facilities — you might find it a bit limiting."
