5-Star Hotels in Takua Pa

From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations. The resort is absolutely beautiful, our room was stunning, and waking up each morning to watch the sunrise from our private pool was an experience we’ll never forget. It felt like the perfect escape from city life. What really sets this resort apart, however, is the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. A special thank you to Tom Cruise, one of our buggy drivers, who always greeted us with such kindness and made us feel so welcome. We were genuinely disappointed that we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye before we left. I also have a nut allergy, and the level of care the team showed was exceptional. They provided me with an allergy card to present at restaurants, and when they made a reservation for us at the neighbouring resort, they had already informed the restaurant about my allergy. It was such a thoughtful touch that made me feel safe and well looked after. This is true five-star hospitality. Thoughtful, attentive, and effortless from start to finish. We’ve had nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The perfect hotel for a beach holiday. For retirees or families with small children. It's the edge of civilization, there's nothing nearby. The nearest 7/11 is 4 km away. There are cafes on the beach, though, and the food is delicious. Not particularly expensive. But they certainly look scary. Also, while dining by the sea at sunset, you might be attacked by hermit crabs and other sea creatures that emerge after dark. 😅 We saw a huge cockroach in the hotel itself (I don't think it lives there, it was probably a stray, but it was scary). The beaches are great, that's for sure. The coastline is a bonfire. The hotel cafe is significantly more expensive than the one on the beach, but also more presentable. The population is mostly European. Overall, I recommend it for a beach holiday, but don't hang out here 🤷

This new, luxurious hotel begins with a very friendly staff. We were checked in early, and our room was ready, which was unexpectedly pleasant after a long journey. But most importantly, the hotel offers a huge variety of children's activities. Children and parents can truly enjoy their stay. I also would like to mention the well-equipped gym and large rock climbing wall.

Overall a small excellent hotel. Very welcoming staff. Interesting breakfasts. A stunning orange fridge and magnificent coffee. Very striking the presence of a full refrigerator with a freezer. The room is equipped with a toilet machine. Our rest was a little corrupted by the following: The dirty ceramic floor in the room. Plastic glasses and fuses. There was no jacuzzi in our room and no hot water. No one solved this problem during the stay.

We stayed at Le Méridien Khao Lak and had a wonderful time. The resort sits on the long white sands of Bangsak Beach — quiet, spacious, and relaxed, a completely different vibe from busy Phuket. It's about 1.5 hours from Phuket airport, so the location is genuinely secluded, and that's a big part of its charm. The grounds are beautifully kept, with three lagoon pools — one adults-only, one family pool that's almost like a water park, and all of it spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious, with a large balcony overlooking the pool, a comfortable bed, and a huge bathroom. The staff are a real highlight: warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. There's plenty of choice when it comes to dining. Breakfast at The Nest has an enormous spread, the pizza at the Italian spot L'Uccello is good, and dinner with your feet in the sand at the beachside restaurant is worth the trip on its own. In the evenings there's live music and a lovely atmosphere. On the downside, on-site prices are noticeably higher than in town, and without a car or transfer it's not easy to get around given how remote the resort is. But if you're coming to genuinely unwind rather than party, it's a great spot. We'll be back.

The resort is really nice for families with children. But its a bit outskirts of Phuket, nearly 2 hours from Patong. And just outside the hotel you walk 5 minutes and there is a walking street with restaurants, massage spa. But the resort is very quiet, nice and especially it huge. A lot of restaurants inside, and many things for kids. It has a huge play area for kids too. The breakfast options is also nice, a limited options for vegetarian though. But specially this resort is very very huge. And kids love the water park.

A wonderful hotel with excellent food and staff. The grounds are enormous, a true tropical garden with an immense variety of flora and fauna. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It felt like being in a botanical garden. The staff were also great.

This was one of the best trips we've had in a while. We usually stay at other hotels, but we decided to try the Ramada! We loved the hotel – it's compact, comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and it has one of the best beaches on Khao Lak. The rooms are a bit tired for those looking for a luxury experience, but super comfortable for casual travelers! It has everything you need, and even more. We'll definitely be staying at the Ramada again next year! The surrounding area is well-developed – restaurants, massages, shops, everything you need for a relaxing holiday. You can stroll around, or you can even leave the hotel and sit at a nearby bar or restaurant, and the Nightmarket is nearby. We're so glad we had the chance to stay at the Ramada. The hotel offers free activities – yoga, carving, batik, napkin folding, color-coding, and much more! If you're looking for the company of Russian tourists, if you're looking for a Turkish-style vacation—constant parties, drinking, and adventure—then Ramada is definitely not for you. Go to Phuket, you'll be happy there. For a quiet, high-quality, unpretentious, and dignified vacation in the company of Europeans, head to Ramada. I like the rooms here. They are very spacious, have a work desk, a sofa set, and the bathroom is also spacious. Well proportioned The area around the accommodation has a good atmosphere. big swimming pool And it's also next to the beach. I'm impressed.

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The pool is amazing. Hotel is starting show signs of wear and tear, eg decor and missing tiles in pool. Location is a bit out of the way but you can get the free shuttle or take a taxi into town. Was quiet and relaxing. Friendly and warm service.
