Hotel Hayat

Everything was good, and the breakfast was decent. However, it's quite an uphill walk to get there, and they close at 12, so you have to call to get in after that! They have a water cooler and other nice perks available 24/7, but there's no fridge in the room, nor any disposable amenities (slippers, disposable toothbrush). Otherwise, everything else is fine.

I booked an economy room for 2 nights. I've never seen an 'economy' room like this before!!! There were unflushed human waste products in the toilet (I didn't take pictures for ethical reasons), which leads me to believe that perhaps there wasn't much cleaning done before my check-in! There were hairs from previous occupants everywhere. The vacuum cleaner clearly hadn't visited this room. The room itself is small, and apparently, the towels are also for gnomes! There's no elevator in the hotel! The economy room is on the 4th floor! The brawny guy at reception didn't help carry my luggage, he didn't even offer. The bed linen had holes. The mattress springs dug into my body. The Wi-Fi didn't work on the floor! There was no shower curtain, all the water spilled onto the floor, and to use the toilet, you had to walk through a puddle! The soap is poured into some used jar. The breakfasts are decent, enough to keep you going until lunch. Yes, the hotel's location is excellent. But this attitude towards those who rent an inexpensive room just killed it for me! If you're not a wealthy Italian renting a good room, then they clearly won't create comfortable conditions for you here.

This hotel claims to be four-star, but it's really no more than two-star. Its biggest advantage is its proximity to the Latin Bridge in the Old Town, and it's quite convenient for taking public transport. Breakfast is very basic, and the room facilities are quite old, just about usable. The TV is still a cathode-ray tube model.

This is a great hotel. The bathroom facilities are clean, and the whole place feels very tidy. It's really close to the tourist attractions, which is convenient because you can easily pop back to your room for a quick restroom break or whatever you need.
