"The breakfast is very rich. P.S. It is a chain. The breakfast is the same. I ate it for three days. It is a 10-minute drive from the city center. The ferry route to Pulpit Rock is 55 minutes. The hotel is very new. Parking is free on weekends. It is very convenient. I will come again next time."

"The location is fantastic. The FB40 bus driver will drop you off at the nearest stop from the airport, and it's a 7-minute walk to the hotel. The surroundings are beautiful. It's a 10-minute walk to the Old Town, Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), and the bus and train stations."

"Lovely historic hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in one of their larger suites - it was spacious, had great harbour views and was generally comfortable. Good breakfast in a nice dining room. However, do note that the hotel has no AC (which should be fine most of the time), which can be a challenge on a rare hot day. The bathtub in our room also wasn't ideally set up - it easily leaked water when showering."

"This is a very clean and comfortable hostel. The female staff are also friendly. However, there are a few things that could be improved. I would like to see lights next to the beds. It would be helpful to be able to use the common areas before check-in and after check-out. And the most important thing that needs improvement is this: There is another hostel run by the same owner very close to this one, and it is very confusing which one to go to. The message I received shortly before my stay gave the address of the hostel I was actually staying at, but the booking site only gave the address of the other hostel. I mistakenly went to the other hostel. Furthermore, the entrance code was the same for both hostels, so I went inside the wrong one. I would like to see improvements such as separate booking sites for each hostel."

"The hotel provided great service, I particularly like the delicious Norwegian food it catered for the guests, and I wish to extend my compliment to the staff Miss Pen, a sweet lady from Thailand for her friendliness and warm service.  Perhaps the room for improvement is the hotel house keeping in term of cleanliness and tidiness.  Thank you."

"The hotel is a bit old, but the location is excellent, right downstairs in the old town with lots of shops, an Xtra supermarket, and parking. However, I didn't receive a text message on my phone during the automatic check-in, and no one answered the doorbell. Luckily, another guest opened the door for me, and I was able to check in at the machine after entering."
