One of the worst places I have ever stayed in—- did not feel safe or welcome. The campsite didn’t resemble what it was sold to us as - In a state of disrepair/ overgrown Nothing welcoming at all. Found a handwritten note saying the owners were selling however it felt that they had deserted a sinking ship before it sank.

Lovely part of the world and plenty to do, we stayed with canvas holidays and was greeted by Dany, she even come down on her day off to check everything was ok. Part of your tourist tax in Germany you can use the local public transport that helps getting around. I will definitely be coming back.

We really enjoyed our trip. We had everything in the tend. Except the bedding. But we could book it if we had wanted it. The pool and the train station are nearby. Perfect for bike rides. Dana the counsellor was really really great. Whenever you needed something you could reach her. Very helpful and friendly lady. We will definitely visit kinzigtal again.

Daniëla is a sweet warm personality who handed us our place with great warmth and enthusiasm. She also took the time to explain everything. Also every day a nice personal conversation and tips about the area. The campsite itself is in my opinion very simple and more for transit. On the other hand, the nature around the campsite made up for it. The clamping tents are quite simple but don't expect too much from them. At least a big 10 for the staff. BrandClean shower room and toilets.

We have recently visited this site via canvas holidays. We felt the site was rather tired and needed an uplift, especially the fact that a large operator such as canvas use this. There are limited things to do in the local area. It is not possible to hire bikes locally, even though there are numerous cycle paths, we asked this question at reception, we got a no!! The whole site is cash only, which we felt was rather dated in 2023. Also, barriers are in place at certain times throughout the site limiting when you can enter with your vehicle, there didn’t appear to be any logic for this. Generally the staff are rather abrupt and rude. We visited Rutlantica waterpark, this was fabulous, we really enjoyed it. The best in Europe we have been to. About 40 minutes away, certainly worth it. The canvas rep does not appear too concerned about customer service. Her knowledge and enthusiasm were very limited, her referral for information was to use the internet! The Canvas caravan was rather small and basic . From the site you can use the local pool complex at no charge. This is a nice area , we enjoyed this. As a family we have stayed at countless sites in Europe, unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with this site and will certainly not return.

We stayed in a euro tent with canvas holidays for three nights, family of four children aged 7 & 9. Very comfortable tent, boiling hot in the day and very cold at night! We forgot to pre book bed sheets and there wasn’t any available annoyingly, but we managed withought them as blankets and pillows were included. The free access to the community pool next to the campsite was fantastic and the Konus travel cards although we didn’t use the free travel. There’s an amazing outdoor pool in haslach a 10/15 minute cycle along a pretty bike trail, (go out towards the main road then turn right before going under the bridge to the main road, it runs alongside the granite quarry) we paid under €10 for all of us. Also a great child friendly walking route through the woods the far side of Haslach, 4km walk in total up hill at first then all downhill on the way back, several obstacle course style play areas about half way round. Nice quiet yet busy campsite, small pub, laundry, showers etc. table tennis but byo bats. There’s also a tennis club behind the campsite, lots of biking trails everywhere. The Kinzig valley is stunning and well worth a visit for an active family holiday.

The site is great a Nd benefits from being next to a great municipal swimming pool, however trying to book on the website in English is a nightmare, we have completed the online form three times but nobody gets back to you and confirm the booking. Has got to the point we had to choose another site

We stayed with our caravan for about ten days in August. Very nice campsite. Excellent size. Nice large pitches. Convenient and clean toilet block. Small food shop, very good bread and croissants. Restaurant/brewery with very good dishes, even pizza. Courteous staff. Really nice swimming pool adjacent to the campsite. Cycle paths nearby. Truly a campsite where you feel good and enjoy your holidays peacefully and immersed in nature. We already want to go back! Very convenient for visiting the entire Black Forest.

The campsite itself is fine, clean houses, excellent facilities. Unfortunately, there is a man working here who can seriously affect your holiday pleasure. When you arrive at the regular reception you will be gruffly directed to your tour operator. Now they seem to be having a form of siesta here in the region. This means that everything is closed between 13.00 and 15.00. When you want to drive off the site at 1:00 p.m., this grumpy man stands proudly with his clock to close the barrier in front of you. So you are literally stuck at the campsite. It is a great pity that the tour operator recognizes and disapproves of this man's rigid behavior, but indicates that there is nothing he can do. Are you stuck at the campsite with 3 children aged 0, 4 and 8? Pity. Also is the pool closed?
