Exuma Palms Resort

Joel is the owner of the Resort and he made us feel so welcome the moment we arrived. He called us by name and offered to have our luggage taken to our room. We were then taken up to our room which was on the second floor. The view from all of the rooms overlooks the pool and gorgeous blue-green water and white sand beaches. It is located on Three Sisters Beach, so named for the 3 rocks just off the shore. The room was everything that was shown in the pictures and described. We had a queen sized bed, 2 bedside tables w lamps, frig, microwave, coffee maker, dresser, TV, table and two chairs. (However, there was no coffee or condiments in the room.) The colors are perfect for the Exuma beach, blue and white. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The Resort offers you complimentary pool towels while you’re there. Blue Conch restaurant is on site with a bar that’s always open to guests and outside customers. Reggie is the bartender that knows how to whip up a fantastic drink and serve it with a story. The restaurant also offer breakfast, lunch and dinner to guests upon request. (We weren’t made aware of this until the day we were leaving.) Most nights they are open to the public and guests for dinner. The food is phenomenal. We had the seafood platter the first night, Fried Shrimp and fries the next day. Never tried the breakfast or lunch. This is the place to eat whether you are a guest or just on the island and want great food. The owner, Joel is the main chef and really knows his way around the kitchen. His wife is normally there to lend a helping hand. Sorry I didn’t get her name. The resort is about a 10 minute ride from the airport which cost $15-20 for a taxi. It takes longer to get into town, approx. 30 minutes and cost about $40 one way. We went into Minns Water Sports and rented a 17’ Boston Whaler for the day. This is the way to go. You can tour the 7 mile long harbor with all of it’s beaches. On Stocking Island, there is a national park with swings on the beach and an art trail. Three or so restaurants are also there with Chat ‘N Chill being the most famous. Make sure to order the Conch Salad and watch every step that the chef makes. It’s a show that no one needs to miss. Who else goes out into the water and retrieves the main ingredient. Then shows you how to clean it at the waters edge. Then its back to his Hut to chop and create this wonderful salad. The fresh produce lines the counter, tomatoes, onions and bell peppers. That is the traditional salad for $20. You can also get pineapple and mango (I think that’s right) for another version of it for $25. It’s well worth it!!! The weather didn’t cooperate with us and it was cloudy and windy our whole three days. The resort being a long, costly drive from most anything, we didn’t see anything else on the island. Exuma Palms Hotel is a cozy beachfront escape in the Exumas, offering stunning ocean views and easy beach access. The peaceful atmosphere and uncrowded sands make it feel like a private paradise. Rooms are clean and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Joel made us feel welcomed and the whole staff always greeted us with smiles and went out of their way to make our vacation stay unforgettable.

This was my first time in Exuma, and the staff at Exuma Palms Hotel and the Blue Conch Restaurant and Bar couldn't have been better. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The room was spotless and very clean with a beautiful ocean view over looking the pool. We tried many dishes at the restaurant and were satisfied with the quality of food provided. The fish and conch were amazing. They ran out of my favorite liquor while I was there and made a special trip to get more so I could enjoy the exact beverage I wanted. I cannot speak any higher of the staff at this resort. The beach was so beautiful and untouched it felt like it was my own private beach. We will be booking another stay at this location next year.

My Wife, 4 year old son and myself, stayed at the Exuma Palms Resort from June 6 to the 11th, 2024, and WOW...what an experience. From the service, to the location, to the BEACH, we were in awe at how calm and relaxing it all was. If you want to experience a true island living and experience, this is where you want to be. It reminds you that you dont need a luxury hotel, to be relaxed and serene. It reminds you about what a vacation means; rest, relaxation and a sense of humbleness. The resort is definitely calm and quiet. The island is known to be safe so there were really no concerns there. The food was outstanding - its a fusion of Caribbean dishes mixed with other cultures; Amazing flavors. I recommend, trying all the local drinks at the bar, you will NOT be disappointed (Thank you Deon) Walks to the beach take less than a minute and its almost like its YOUR very own PRIVATE beach. The view alone, will take your breath away. This wasn't to say that the stay was 100% perfect. But we did understand that there are renos and upgrade in progress, so if there was anything that we had to find negative (but not really), that would have been it. There is a lot of work that is being done, and in no way, shape or form, did that stop or hinder our stay in any way. The GM, Joel and his team (so many to mention), were super hospitable, kind, ACCOMODATING and were available at any given moment. We couldn't thank you all enough. Best kept secret! The beach is fabulous! The staff is amazing! The drinks were delicious! The rates were reasonable! Bed was comfy and bathroom was clean! (little water pressure issue but no big deal)...you can't get a better deal on Farmer's Hill Beach, adjacent to Three Sisters Beach. If you're looking for a no-frills, laid-back, 3-star, R&R, and great beach walking every day, this is your spot!

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! The views, the customer service, Joel’s personal attention (GM) and the food! My husband and I came here and couldn’t believe the unbelievable view of the turquoise water just feet away from our bedroom. If you want to experience a true Exuma island experience, stay here!
