Quiet, ambient gem located on the Jersey Shore. I went during March (Winter) and it was a very peaceful stay. Loved the touch of local chocolates every night! Nicole, the receptionist, was very accommodating and understanding 😁 Absolutely grateful for her!
My only issue was the laundry system... I bagged my laundry for the staff to clean using their laundry bag that they provided but it was not taken care of; maybe I was unaware of the proper procedures. The other issue was the construction there during the time (which again, is not the property's fault), so I could not find a place to park other than street parking across the street, but there's no helping that.

Check in took too long because the front desk was on the phone for a long time. We were given vouchers for a cocktail for the delay but we didn’t use. After we ate out for dinner and when back to our room to settle in the tv did not work. We had to be moved to another room which took some time.

Parents sent us here for our birthdays. Checked in and sent to room. Lo' and behold, someone was already in the room. Front desk didn't think this was a big deal...we did. No apology or upgrade for inconvenience. Not even a free drink offered. This is a property that should have better concierge service especially when a mistake is made on their part.

The Reeds provides an exceptional experience. Rooms are well appointed, food for breakfast and dinner is very good. Staff is knowledgeable. Highly recommend
