I specifically asked for a twin room and was promised that this would be fulfilled as I was with my carer. I was offered a disabled room but wanted two beds. when we arrived the beds were pushed together and there was only one sheet and quilt so when we manually separated them there was only one sheet and quilt between two. I'm not happy about this as I specifically requested the beds be separated on arrival
Other than that comfy bed, large room and good breakfast.

Lovely hotel close to Excel London where I had a conference, just 10mins walk. The lady at the reception changed my room when I asked to be moved from the initial room that had a connecting door. The room had all the required amenities, a comfortable bed and a great view. Breakfast was satisfactory, a few fruits were available as well. The downside of the whole experience was that the bathroom drain was blocked, and I reported this when I checked out the following morning.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express London Excel was a thoroughly positive experience. If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient base, especially for events at the Excel Centre, this hotel is a great choice.
The rooms were clean, modern, and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay. I found the bed particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location is ideal for accessing the Excel Centre, and the transport links made exploring the wider city easy.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The selection was varied, and everything was fresh and, most importantly, tasty. It was a great way to start the day and provided plenty of fuel for a busy schedule.
Overall, the Holiday Inn Express London Excel offered excellent value for money. The friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, and delicious breakfast made for a very enjoyable stay. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London, particularly those attending events at the Excel Centre.

Lovely hotel! Our visit coincided with the hottest day of the year & the air conditioning in the room was amazing & very well received!! Everywhere was super clean & all staff were extremely helpful. We were attending an event at the O2 arena & this hotel is perfect for this - easy journey home afterwards with the DLR station literally a 2 minute walk away. Will definitely use again for future events.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn London Excel with my family. Though it’s not in the city centre, the hotel is just a short walk to the DLR station, which gave us easy and quick access to central London and excellent to experience Docklands during your stay here.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable for a family trip. We also enjoyed the breakfast, good variety and quality.
A special thanks to Ms. Jothy at reception for her warm hospitality, and to the café staff who were always friendly and helpful.
Overall, a lovely stay and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting London, especially families!
