My stay at the lodge was excellent, the food was great, and all the staff front end at reception, cleaning lady, the guy that helped us with all our luggage and at the restaurant was very helpful, pleasant and accommodating, always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. The views from the garden cottage were peaceful and beautiful - nature at its best. we took many walks, and the kids rode their bikes on the trails, a true gem. we had a couple massage, the spa was clean and relaxing, and the massage was really good. def worth booking at the spa if you stay over. The only things which need attention is the bathroom, which was dated. the weekend stay was great value for money, and will def return in the summer to enjoy the pool facilities.

From booking in was sorry, the spa is closed, sorry there is insufficient meat, sorry the ice machine is broken, sorry the kitchen order is wrong, and to top it all when booking out, sorry there are no porters as they have all gone to dispose of the managers horse that died.

The room we received had a great layout and amazing space for our family. With everything we needed for a comfortable stay with a two-year old toddler. The aircon and ceiling fan is a nice add, to make the sleep more comfortable. The staff was even accommodating by allowing us access to a microwave so we could sterilize baby bottles. The wifi is not great, but forces you to enjoy the Family Time, outside adventures and fresh air. Breakfast was a big hit with the family - a lot of choice and very enjoyable - what a treat. Being surrounded in this peaceful setting was a great get-away for the family. Definately will return.

Good location, cute surroundings, nice cosy area by the fireplace at the restaurant, staff is super nice and helpful (they helped us change and repair our flat tyre). On the other hand, we stayed in a standard room needing serious renovation (rusty, dusty smell, towel smelling strong humidity, hot tub with not enough hot water to actually fill it in). The lodge is right next to the main road and you can hear trafic 24/7. The following day we stayed in Plett in a beautiful guesthouse for the same price. Unfortunately, for us it was not good value for money here.

The location is easily accessible. Surroundings tropical. Pathways between units ideallic. Restaurant offers great food. Buffet only which makes it pricey at R295 per head. Bad smell by the pool. Spunge mattresses. So so. 1 blanket and very thin for 4 guests. Only an aircon. No heating or electric blankets. Downlight in bathroom down. Leak in lounge. Not sufficient mugs for all. Bad smell by pool area. Reception didnt know outstanding amount so I had to go back to settle 2 different amounts. I night was R4000 incl buffet for 3 adults and a child. Green surroundings were beautiful. Made up for the rest.

A pleasant setting with great Lodges overlooking a forest and mountains. Amazing number of attractions and activities nearby. Overall a great stay which was very relaxing!! Thank you

Not happy with the spa experience and the food options, especially for the price we pay. The bathroom needs a lot of attention as it is very outdated and you didn’t really feel clean in there.
