Caladh Inn ★★★
"Good!"
Sandwick Bay Guest House ★★
"Shocked that this type of place not only still exists but also can charge these exorbitantly high prices. Our room was the only one with en suite (room 9). The establishment smelled of maybe animals (2 cats, 2 dogs) or cigarettes or any other unpleasant odours you can think of.....breakfast had to be chosen the night before, along with time, we were there on time and was immediately served on a cold plate, a luke warm selection. Property very tired but our room was clean enough. Would not recommend but as we found out, you are not spoiled for choice in Stornoway but we will not be back! "
Royal Hotel ★★★
"Very nice comfortable facilities located directly above a few fantastic restaurants. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate requests. Very central location to this lovely town. Rooms are smaller as it’s an older building, but are very contemporary and clean."
Cabarfeidh Hotel ★★★★
"Welcoming and helpful staff at reception and in bar/ dining room. Nice comfortable, clean room with drinking water provided."
Creed Cabin ★★★★
Stornoway Bed and Breakfast ★★★★
"Very good"
Hebridean Guest House ★★★★
"Friendly welcome, impeccably clean good sized room at front of house. Previous reviewer has suggested avoiding a front room… yes, a bit of traffic noise at times but we’re not taking trying to sleep beside a motorway. Things quieten down as the evening progresses and then, in the morning, the passing cars help with waking up. Or, maybe, I just had more relaxing whisky than the other guest 😀 Joking apart… a welcoming host, a very comfortable room and bed, substantial breakfast all at a reasonable price within in an easy level 10 - 15 minute walk of the vibrating centre od pf Stornoway. Works for me…"
An Airigh ★★★★
County Hotel ★★★
"Nice staff on the desk . Lovely comfy beds But really disappointed in the penthouse room .for the price we paid . Looked rather neglected to me especially the sitting room . Stained dirty carpets hadn’t even been vacuumed there was pink confetti all over the floor under the sofa and under neath sofa Cushions. ( must have been a hen party leftovers ) this was mentioned to staff I was told my comments would be passed on hopefully I will hear back about this as not acceptable when you pat 212 for I night . Coffee table greasy stains but cleaned Either . One if the bedroom sash at top broken and wouldn’t open . Sadly we won’t be back to this hotel"
