Overall: 6/10 Staff: 9/10 Price: 8/10 Location (to sights): 8/10 Transit: 8/10 Room: 6/10 Common Areas: 6/10 Restaurant/ Bar: 9/10 Vibe (community): n/a Really enjoyed my stay at other hostels from this company and this one should have been just as good but there’s some things i just can’t put aside… First off, the hostel is dirty. Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

We recently stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children (4 and 5). Booking was seamless and easy bar some confusion over whether breakfast was or wasn't included. The hotel is in a phenomenal location in Petite France, however bear in mind as it is on a pedestrianized street there is very limited parking at the property. This isn't an issue as there is a public garage close by and the hotel has a subsidized rate of €18.50/night. The building itself is beautiful and historic with plenty of period detail. The rooms are old but well equipped and clean and they have character(wooden floors/beams etc.) Ours was a family room so there was a set of bunks which the children really loved. The added benefit of a Nespresso machine also went down well with the caffeine addict parents. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. There were plenty of towels provided and the hotel toiletries were of decent quality. There were only small niggles within a great overall stay. Namely a lack of seating and supplies at breakfast on both mornings and also our room wasn't cleaned even though we had requested it and we had been out for 6 hours. Overall would recommend and stay again.

Price was ok considering it was Christmas time and staff was helpful. Spacious room without much amenities -- we tried to find the hairdryer in the room only to found out from the receptionist that you had to borrow the hairdryer from them, and you can only have it for 2 hours each time. Please note that no room cleaning service available during your stay unless you are willing to pay for the additional charge for cleaning.

I was told that breakfast was not included despite booking a plan with breakfast. The electrical equipment in the room is broken, and no matter how many times it is turned off, the electricity in the room automatically turns on after a certain time, so it is woken up by the lighting of the electricity every hour in the middle of the night, and I can't sleep well. The next day I was working from the morning, but I was hard with a headache due to lack of sleep. I don't recommend it.

No service at all. The reception is only available till 7 pm. So if you arrive 30 min later there is nobody to acomodate you not even by telephone. We booked the hotel exclusively for the underground parking but as there is nobody at the desk you cannot enter the parking either. The streets around the appart hotel al full of cars and there is no spot early in the evening. It is also difficult to locate the entrance of the hotel. We had to ask the neighbors as it is an entry for the apartment complex and another entry around the corner for the hotel. Via de email at 18.59 hr you get a message that they leave a credit-card form key for you in a locker that you have to localise inside of the lobby. An old person will not be able to follow these instructions. We found the key but did not enter the room as we first wanted to get the car parked. But as the hotel parking is only open with a remote control you cannot enter if no one is there. The neighbors are nice and let you in, but Néméa parking is blocked by a barrier and you cannot get in. Inside the garage are warnings not to park elsewhere or you are transpassing. So we got so stressed that we decided to leave and book elsewhere last second. It was 20.30 hrs in the meantime and bookings via booking.com did not get through. We had to book in situ. All with all a lot of stress. The people from Néméa were not apologetic that nobody answers the phone after 19.00 hrs not even at 19.30 hr, when we called. You cannot arrange for a parking spot only on the arrival day upon arrival. They do not tell you this nor that it costs you 50 euro extra as deposit that you hope to get back. Either ways, Néméa is not willing to reimburse us. We will definitely never book with them again. And if you come by car, unless you can arrive prior to 18 hr (so that you can be sure you can arrange the parking) avoid this place as well. The area is not safe to leave a heavily loaded expensive car on the streets. Safety first! Booking.com censors this review this is why we place it here❗❗❗

We chose this hotel for economic reasons. The fact that the only night staying and having a car was that it was not meaningful to spend the ”did” figures they ask in the hotels in the centre of Strasbourg, because the King Soleil is in the noise and if you don't have your own means, I would say that it is very unrecommendable: it is a four-star average, perhaps overpriced, but in Strasbourg it is so. It is excellent to park in garage for only 5 euros, but also wanting to avoid this small amount, The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. We had left packs to be kept in a freezer, and had to store a low temperature medicine in a refrigerator bag. And no, lovely, you don't do that! Raise the c. and go to you to pick them up, don't send us the client, even because you could quietly leave the post, being accompanied by another colleague. Or, as an alternative, remove the ”Prestige” not deserved from the hotel's name.

ne of the best, cleanest, tidiest and stuff-friendly hotels I've been to! The hotel looks like new. Everything is very clean. The rooms are big (we stayed in a double-bed room), very well designed and structured and one of the most useful details not seen in most hotels is the bench for suitcases so that you may take out your personal belongings without bending. Very well thought! The breakfast was so good that I didn't have to eat until late afternoon 🙂 The location is perfect for anyone, especially for travellers because it's not far from the highway. The room insulation is excellent as well. I had the privilege to meet the owner and had a nice chat with him. I cannot highly recommend the hotel! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

The hotel is at the edge of the down town walking area and two minutes walk to a big supermarket and two minutes the other way to the railway station. It was cold and wet when I stayed there, but the town was nicely decorated for Christmas. The room is a good size and very well constructed. The only odd thing is that I never found out how to turn off the bathroom lights. In fact on entering the room, it takes some time how to turn on any lights! The shower is comfortable, but I think the decision not to install a shower door might come back to haunt the hotel in the years to come as the bathroom floor will suffer with the stains. There is a small desk of adequate size, and the Wi-Fi was fast and free. Breakfast is included and is great. On leaving at 04:45, the staff offered to make me a coffee to go. I arrived from Hamburg by plane into Strasbourg. However, I should have taken the train, so I suggest anyone review that option. I flew out of Strasbourg which was €55 by taxi.

The 2-star hotel is clean, bed comfortable!!! Room small but it's all there you need....Beautiful heated.....very nice staff would eat back there morning very well ....... enough parking available so very recommendable

The Chateau is a beautiful hotel and property, and the staff are excellent! A couple of constructive (negative) comments are as follows: there are no screens on the windows, so the bugs flew inside our room. We noticed this is a traditional in France, but this is a Hotel. As for the TV, there was only one (1) English-speaking station (BBC), which had poor reception. For a 5-star Hotel, there should have been more TV available. Lastly, the maid or cleaning staff did not clean the tube during our stay, which was numerous nights.
