Hotel du Vin Stratford

Lovely hotel in good location.   Comfortable bed and pillows.   Breakfast was very nice and good selection. Subdued lighting throughout- the only problem was that as a woman I couldn’t see to put my make up on properly.   Parking outside the hotel is expensive - currently £22.50 per day. The parking bays however were right next to the entrance of the hotel which was good for us.

Wouldn’t say it’s worth it for the price sadly. A bit run down and mould in bathroom. We also couldn’t use the outside terrace bit at the back as it was being used for a private event!!

Excellent venue, Excellent service, Highly professional and Recommend highly to other guests

Very good, excellent service

The hotel was perfectly situated for the town and the theatre. Room was lovely & the bed & pillows dreamy! Staff were super friendly & helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t have breakfast as we had arranged to meet friends - but I’m sure it would have been wonderful!

The room was spacious and very comfortable and the air-conditioning was very welcome. We had a good dinner in the restaurant with an excellent bottle of wine. My only gripe would be about the bathroom. The lighting was so dim that it was hard to see to shave. The shower was not very good. There was only a rainfall outlet, not a hand-held unit, and only a single ring of nozzles worked. The temperature control was annoying, possibly a safety issue - a movement of about 1mm in either direction led to the water either being freezing cold or boiling hot.

While the staff is friendly and the location is fantastic, the hotel is severely overpriced. Our room was dirty, and there was absolutely no view. You're paying for the location, but the lack of cleanliness makes it not worth the money.

Lovely hotel, perfect location and extra bonus points for being so good to our dog Merley. Welcoming dog bed, bowl and treats, always make any place we stay extra special. We can't wait to be back. It would be lovely if the hotel had a free on-site parking.
