Nice and convenient hotel.

Hot. Gross. Noisy. Step away for safety. One star is too generous. ***Do not spend 11 pounds*** to select a room. I spent ages trying to find the coolest and quietest room, selected it and paid, and it was given to someone else with no clear mention of why or if I’ll get a refund. Heat: dusty old fan does not. Weirdly the temp outside is lovely! Why is my room like the 7th hell? Looked out on ledge from a crack in the window to try to gasp for cool air. Saw underwear and weird medicine containers of empty cyanide bottles no doubt. Windows only crack open so you won’t jump out. TV from 1989. Can’t even see it really to comment. Spiderwebs complete the ensemble. Gross little plastic kettle and instant coffee. Travel to dystopia lodge. Lying here in my pool of sweat whilst I and my neighbours prop the doors open to not disintegrate into the hard flat pillows in a lake of sweat. Sadly Dominos won’t let me sleep on their floor. The truth is if Travel to dystopia lodge and even tried to help, I would not have left this review. Move on to Premier Inn.

Great place to stay in the winter but whatever you do don't stay here in the summer - especiallyduring a heatwave! We stayed in the second week of July and the bedroom was so so hot it was like a sauna. We couldn't sleep due to the high temperature. The place was horrendous. It was also deceptive as the entrance and reception area is beautifully air conditioned and it makes you think what a lovely cool place to stay but as you make your way to your room, the heat rises and then hits you when opening the bedroom door. It would help if the staff closed the windows and drew the curtains during hot weather to try and reduce the temperature but our bedroom overlooking the car park had the full blazing sun beating down on it and the curtains fully open. Its also made worse by the bathroom having no air extraction system or working fan - it's just a hole in the wall. Consequently, the heat from the bathroom circulates into the bedroom thus making the over heating even worse. Our room had an electric fan but this made no difference to the excessive temperature.

Room very stuffy fan not adequate for room. Very noisy if window left open for air. Unable to charge phone as my side of bed USB point broken Reported to reception was assured .they would take a look. No-one came. Breakfast lukewarm only one choice of eggs which was scrambled. Second day cold drinks and coffee machine not working. Had to pay for soft drinks at the bar.

The rooms were really warm despite it being September. Opening the window helped a little but there was quite a lot of noise outside from traffic and loading vehicles. The two front of house staff need some training on how to smile.

Lovely hotel breakfast and dinner was great good prices, bar had a variety of drinks at good prices too.

It’s ok best describes this place hardly any drinks at the bar on a Friday afternoon not great if you have mobility issues stay clear an find one in centre very noisy hardly slept so won’t be returning it was clean I will say that

Location was perfect for us . A 10- 15 minute walk into the town. Free parking and the usual standard Travelodge rooms. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. Would use this place again
