Swan's Nest Hotel

The staff were very friendly and got us off to a good start on a wet day. Sam at reception and Austin in the bar particularly. Room was as booked. Very spacious. Bathroom was excellent looked recently refurbished. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Both had good night's sleep. The lounge was good size enabling my partner to spread her cards and presents out. Plenty of chairs and a sofa. On a rather dismal day it was lovely to walk into a warm room. We used the Bear bar where our drinks especially the cask beer were good. The only disappointment was the meal in the Bear which was at best average. We did not have breakfast.

From the front desk to the staff in the corridors, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. My daughter and I had a lovely stay here. The bed was comfy and the hotel is so close to town, just a short walk over a choice of 2 lovely bridges.

Breakfast was shocking for what it cost. Hubby's breakfast was cold on the 2 mornings we stayed. Portion size is very small Tea was awful. The room was a bit musty smelling. Would I stay here again. No. The location was great, for the races, and having a drink in the town, other than that, would defo look for another hotel for next time.

Breakfast was average  The room was not very clean  And being charged 10 pounds a day for  Hotel car park  was a bit much

Great location especially for the RSC theatre. Pub food was good but limited vegetarian choices. The hotel was clean, rooms were spacious but decor was dated and a bit tired. Breakfast in Chez Pierre was great.

Perfect everything and everyone really lovely ate at both restaurants at the hotel again perfect.already looking to stay again soon

Excellent location park your car and just enjoy Stratford on Avon. Lovely food friendly staff, our room (18) had great decor and was very clean Special mention to Mia on Receiption excellent Customer Service. See you soon Swans Nest.

One night theatre stay in this hotel which we have known for over sixty years. Excellent location for the town by foot (over the tramway bridge) only 10 minutes or so Friendly, helpful staff; useful car park at the hotel and discount for hotel residents. Very comfortable bed; good shower. Hotel could be described as old fashioned and a bit tired but that’s part of the charm. Would stay again with a deal!!

Great location, easy access into town. Rooms spacious and great to have a fridge in the room. Car park charged at £8 very reasonable. Breakfast good selection and quick service. Would stay again.
