I stayed a night for a high school reunion - been many years since I'd left t Numurkah and wasn't sure what to expect - what a surprise! The hotel has been completely refurbished - rooms are very schmik, en suite was very modern and well appointed - a welcome upgrade from country pubs of old. Service was efficient and friendly. Great to see such a wonderful accommodation option right in the main street, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Numurkah.

Morris Brewing had a listing in the Murray Farm Gate Trail booklet we picked up from the Visitor Centre. We like to try the local breweries when travelling and as we had a small window of opportunity we drove from Cobram to Numurkah to give it a try. When we arrived we found it to be the Telegraph Hotel we went into the lounge area which was very pleasant but still a pub. There was a local pale ale on tap which we gather was from the brewing company so we thought while we were here we would give it a try. It was a pleasant pale ale, I couldn't see anything else to try so after our drinks were finished we left.

It can be a bit hit & miss when staying in pub accommodation, but this was such a lovely place to stay - it's been beautifully renovated and the rooms were wonderful. Room was clean, bed was comfy, bathroom as lush, and even staying at a pub on the weekend, you couldn't really hear everyone downstairs. Will definitely be back!

I was a bit wary about staying at a 'Pub' but this place is great. Wonderful newly renovated high quality rooms with high ceilings and lots of space. And very quiet. You would never know you were staying above a pub. Great range of food served in the bar and restaurant downstairs and delightful helpful hosts.

The hotel room was comfortable, the food was good, and the staff very helpful. It was easy to tie up my bike, and there were good vegetarian options to eat. The rooms have been recently renovated and comfortable.
